The insole makes my feet too tight at the toe box, can I cut it? I see some lines in the back, not sure if they are for that.?

I also have a wide toe box. These are 3/4 so not really a problem for me. No way I would cut them as then I would feel the "ledge."

Can I wear them with flat shoes like loafer sneakers? A rheumatologist told me not to wear flats because It will cause my heel to hurt more.

I would follow your doctors orders. J however have been using soft sole installed for many years. I have them in my sneakers , flat shoes & sandals sometimes. Due to Plantar Fascia.

what are these made out of?

They appear to be made of a fabric, some hard plastic, gel and foam. They are very comfortable and wash easily. I have been using them for years. I make sure I have at least 3 or 4 pairs and alternate them.

Please explain, why are women's insoles are $2 more than men's?
