Perfect fit
Had to buy this emblem because someone decided to steal mine. Didn't even know that they were removable. It took a few weeks. Should I say for me to decide to take a chance to buy it? It actually was expensive but it fit in and clicked right away. Slightly crooked but fits well

Absolutely NOT FOR A PASSAT! Will fit a Jetta.
Way smaller than what goes on a 2014 Passat. This fits a Jetta. I have a Jetta emblem even for comparison. It's completely misleading in the text saying it fits a Passat when it absolutely does not!!!!

It can NOT simply be snapped in place of the old one. It has to be 're-built' first.
I am adapting this emblem to the front grill of my 2009 VW City Golf. It is exactly the same diameter but takes removing the black 'frame' from the back and re-using the original one (made in Brazil) and gluing them together with plastic-compatible epoxy. Then it has to be snapped in place. I'm in the middle of doing it right now.3 days later: It worked and I snapped it in place; looks great. Its the only way to replace the front emblem. I couldn't find anyone to re-chrome plastic.
