Don't buy this battery, it doesn't work, had to return it. Better off throwing away your Bose link and getting a new JBL speaker

Great replacement battery
If your original Bose SoundLink Mini doesn’t keep a battery charge for very long then you could use a replacement battery. The good news is that the Bose Mini 1 does have an easily replaceable battery unlike the Mini 2. You will need a torx type screw driver (see attached photos) to open the battery compartment but the rest is as simple as removing the four screws and popping in the old and replacing it with the new. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this battery came with a full charge right out of the package. It fit my Mini 1 perfectly and got me up and going in no time. It is also great that the battery comes with a type of 2 year replacement warranty! I have read some reviews where the purchaser says that the battery does not work. I would bet you anything that there is something else wrong with their Bose speaker besides the battery. A new battery will not always fix everything, but as far as batteries go - this one is quality. If for some reason the battery does not work, be sure to try to reset your speaker by holding the mute button pressed for 10 seconds. Hope this helps!

Gave me back my fav little speaker!
My speaker's batteries were so low that they wouldn't even allow the speaker to play with the external power plugged in but after swapping out the battery for this one, It's brought itself back to life. It can now play for more than 10-15 minutes like it was doing previously. The only thing I wished they would offer is a possible discount or credit to send the old dead battery back since I think they are just changing the cells. It's an easy enough job if you have nickel strips and a mini spot welder but I don't so thats why I purchased this one.

Does not hold a charge
Received this battery yesterday placed it on the charger inside my Bose speaker, blinking light saying it was charging. Charged overnight and attempted to use the next day and would not work at all. Continued to say it was charging. Will be returning

I’ve asked a friend to see what is wrong with the Bose soundlink mini 1…. It’s just doesn’t want to link with my iPhone or iPad, the link light is on and will not shut, so I cannot link with it
