Wartech H-16M M7 Bayonet Knife with Sheath, 13",Metal

This is a replica item, not of the same quality as original USA manufacture. The M10 scabbard is not a milspec M10 scabbard, even though it has typical military manufacture markings and looks and works great. The knife looks solid, heck even looks better than the new mil-spec knives I have. It is not sharpened however, even at the point. I’ve not sharpened it, and may never do so, so I can’t judge the steel. The fit of the knife is loose around the flash hider, so the mounted knife has more play in it than the mil-spec knife. That’s its most annoying aspect for me. You don’t use this knife as a field knife, heck you don’t want to use the mil-spec one either for field work, it’s a bayonet. Sole purpose is to be “pointy” and stick people. For a wall hanger, which is my purpose, it’s great for the money. As a field knife, it’s not as useful. My rating is based upon the look and feel and mostly the price point of the knife. A genuine M7 bayonet with scabbard will set you back perhaps $150 give or take. They get more rare by the day.

The tip is not broken they're just made to be sharpened. Decent quality for cheap replica. Stainless Steel. Sheath works well except the nylon strap is poor and is not functional. Good for light use and can easily replace the blade with better steel later on. Fits perfect on Mossberg 590 Retrograde.

For a $27 knife this is a great value for the price. As a bayonet, with the normal wobble on the barrel that these all will have on a carbine, it fit perfect on my AR. As a knife it comes pretty dull, but I have no problem sharpening this type of steel (a bit soft) and keeping sharp. The sheath is OK. The plastic part is great. The strap is not as ideal but will serve the purpose. However, I replaced with heavier weight strap and changed the snap to a cord lock with para-cord. Took about 10 minutes and $1.00 in materials. Now it is just as I prefer. be it as a bayonet or just utility knife you can spend way more on one of these. if you want and ordinal or a higher end knife there are plenty of better options. However, for the price and overall durability of the knife, for my purposes this knife will do the trick just fine.

The bayonet looks and feels good in the hand, and didn't have that cheap feeling handle, it actually feels decent. It does properly affix on a mid length gas system with a 16 inch barrel, however the lock up could be a little tighter. It rattles a bit when attached. The sheath is nice, feels decent and the knife fits in it well. It has some mechanism in it that holds it tightly, so it doesn't rattle. The reason I'm taking 2 stars off is because of how dull the knife is. I didn't expect it to be razor sharp, but the knife doesn't even have a point on it, it's just flat. The edge so dull that you can't cut at all with it, even when using alot of force. This is in part because the blade is so thick, which will make sharpening take a while. All in all, not bad for the price, and would be a great buy if it was at least pointed properly.

If you are looking for something that looks good and should do what it is designed for, at a decent price. - This is your bayonet. It does not come very sharp but for the money, that's easily fixed. Also, I'm no expert but there does seem to be some confusion as to which model the bayonet or it's scabbard is. The seller may want to clear that up?

This isn't a knife, it's basically just a hunk of metal. Well, I guess you get what you pay for. It fits on my AR perfectly with only a little rattling, and the sheath it comes with is pretty ok. However, there's absolutely no blade at all on the one I got. The sides are several millimeters thick at the bare minimum, and they simply don't seem to me to be even worth attempting sharpening. I suppose if you just want an M7 lookalike to use as a prop, go ahead, but this is basically just paperweight in functionality.

came complete as visually described, nice box and with a plastic sheath over the entire thing. will look good installed didn't come oiled though, c'mon now! thankfully had a CLP order arrive the same day.

Received today. Knife is fine, the blade is made of stainless steel and the handle is strong plastic...no complain there. The sheath is another story...the knife retaining strap was sown backwards forcing you to twist the straps to get the snaps together (still works). Also, the bottom half of the packaging box is missing (I am assuming it was a returned unit).
