SoftMaker Office Professional 2021 (5 users) for Windows, Mac and Linux [PC/Mac Download]

Here's why I chose SoftMaker--I need to be able to track changes and include comments. None of the other clones seemed to have that feature. So, I downloaded the trial version first. And gave it a whirl. What I found? Not only can I track changes and create comments within the files created or edited by SoftMaker Text, but they all come through seamlessly in the "competitor's" program. So, my clients don't know I'm working from anything other than the Office suite they or their companies pay big bucks for annually. So far, I haven't found anything that doesn't work equally well--and I'm excited to try the e-book creator that comes with Pro--yet another bonus I'm going to put to work in my publishing office. Thanks for this one-and-done purchase. It makes a world of difference.

the product is very good, but you failed to inform me that there is a newer product SoftMaker Office Professional 2024 for Windows on the market. Now I have to pay another $50.00

I use this for writing complex documents before I post them on line. The are so many fonts...

I did not want to purchase Microsoft Office and the yearly subscription. I searched for a less expensive alternative and this has been a perfect solution for me. Easy install, easy use. All of the similar features found in MS Office and programs similar to Word, Excel, PowerPoint. So far, so good!

Don't like this way to get my software will not let me cancel or get refund for this software. how do I I get money back?

I can not call it up. No help from the software co. I am on day 4 and still can't use

Don't buy, this is very expensive and misleading. Buy the actual CD.

I run both Microsoft Windows (11) and Linux (Mint-Cinnamon). I needed an office product and Microsoft was NOT an option (for several reasons in addition to the fact that Microsoft refuses to release Office for Linux) for me. So I tried several alternatives beginning with the popular (and free) Libre Office. But none were up to the 'Office' standard. Until I found Softmaker Office. This product is easily as good as, or possibly better than, Microsoft Office. The user interface has two basic forms, the older menu style, and the newer ribbon style. The interface is VERY customizable. This suite is as easy to use as any I've tried, including MSO. Its operation is smooth and fast and I couldn't crash it even though I tried :) It is the same on Windows or Linux, it will load/save documents in its own format, plus Office formats, etc. Now, in all honesty I must say that this suite only consists of TextMaker (word processor), PlanMaker (spreadsheet) and Presentations (presentation designer); the most commonly used office suite applications (there is no equivalent to Access for instance). But it does what I (and I suspect most others) need in an office suite and it sets its own level of excellence while doing so. I cannot recommend this product highly. Even if Microsoft were to release Office for Linux tomorrow I would stay with this product. (now if they add a database application and bring scripting to Linux then Amazon is going to have to add another star to their rating system!)
