Do you have to use the mask or is there a work around?

You do not have to use the mask if your design is one big piece, it is only needed if you have smaller individual pieces. I have this product I purchased it from Michaels and I can not for the life of me get the easysubli to even transfer to the mask to use it. This stuff is too expensive for it not to work with the mask. Other than that, it works fine.
