Save your money, this is a poor quality kit.
Couldn't even cut one window out with it, tools bent way too easliy.

Not the best
I would not recommend this tool wasn't sharp and just bent , the wire was also not the best but helped just a little, I mostly ended using a blade that was not from this kit and did a better job , so save your money and get something better

Don't waste your money.
These tools are pretty useless for taking a windshield out. I needed to replace a windshield because I couldn't get a shop to do it for my vehicle because it had been in an accident and the cab was slightly bent in one corner and I needed to remove the windshield to straighten the cab back out and make sure a new one would fit properly,(plus it was $200 cheaper to buy a windshield and install it my self then to even try to have a company do it without a bent cab) I read the reviews for this and thought mabie some people didn't know exactly what they were doing and I would take a chance on it for the price any ways. If you have ever dealt with removing a windshield before you know the glue that holds it in is very hard and tough to cut through that being said the tool with the short right angle cutting blade comes dull as could be and completely useless I even attempted to sharpen it the best I could but still useless. The cutting wire was so cheap that it repeatedly snapped every few inches causing me to have to feed it through over and over. No matter what style I attempted pulling, sawing , any thing really no matter what the wire would snap I'm guessing that would be why they supply such a large amount of it. The tool to feed the wire through works ok untill the two teeth clamp shut and have to be pried apart to remove the wire. The tool with the red handle in the picture pretty useless on old hardened glue. Just about the only part of this set that was nice and decently made was the handles for the wire, I did like those and appreciate how they we're designed but other then that don't want the money on this set you would be better off with high test fishing line and looking up a video on youtube. This made a hard job even harder then it ever needed to be and caused it to take hours to just remove broken windshield.

Heck of a deal, well thought out
Just removed the rear windshield from my 65 Corvair using the kit. Wrong seal material had been used (harder than OEM) plus gobs of silicone and gosh knows what else. Did it alone and between the knife, wire inserter and wire handles, it went pretty easy. The handles are really well designed and executed well enough. The wire inserting tool worked great, just have to be careful to go in at a shallow angle and not chip the glass. Would have been a 5 star but the wire said stainless and is square but broke easily. Piano wire (guitar B string) would have probably been better but 2 breaks is not too bad since the handles work pretty well. I'm experienced so didn't really overstress the wire, it was just weak.

does what it does
At first i had a problem with it snapping but it was because i wasn't using all the tools right. i find it easier if you use the big tool to cut the rubber then use the string to gut the softer rubber silicone.

Ok for the money.
Not top of the line but worth the money. This is good set if just needing for a few jobs. If in the business full time I would step up to a better grade.
