Worked good until it broke.
Made removing siding nails very easy.

Broke the first time I used it
I got this product to nip off the pointy ends of 16D nails that were poking through my side of a common fence from my neighbor's property. The product broke on its first use--the bolt holding the cutters together came loose. Would not recommend this for use on 16D nails even though it is advertised as being able to handle them.

Necessary tool…ouch on the $$$$$
Does cut nails. So you know it does cut the thicker ones too only not like butter like in the video. Need a little umpf on those. Great for blind nails. Hope the steel is hard enough to last. Very expensive.

Cuts nail heads like a dream.
The product is sleek and cuts the heads off nails like butter. Used to remove nail heads under shingles so as not to damage roofing. Did an excellent job!

OVERPRICED GARBAGE
Snapped apart on the second nail I wanted to cut. Bought this to use for replacing some damaged siding and save time and cut the nails. Cut one nail! and on the second the whole thing just snapped in my hands! I expected professional quality durability for the price.

Great for cutting nails used to secure wood lap siding
Used this to remove some damage redwood siding (6" overlap) that was damaged during a storm. After using a crowbar to loosen the nails, the cutter made it easy to snip them off without fully removing the siding (and perhaps damaging nearby siding. Cutter doesn't cut it flush to the framing, but a hammer drove the rest of the exposed nail into the framing.Good tool if you are doing a patch job (fixing some siding, but not an entire wall). If you just want to remove an entire wall, no need for the cutter, since a crowbar will work to just demolish the entire wall (assuming you don't intend to reuse any of the siding

Excellent
Top quality product. To try it out I nailed a few 16 penny nails into the top of an old workbench and when I used this to cut them in half, the top half of the nails ricocheted off the ceiling! There is so much leverage to these, that you just slowly squeeze the cutters around a nail, and the top of the nail shoots off like a bullet. Incredibly well built tool.
