These are the best hooks I ever used. They are very sharp and fish get hooked easily with these. I use them for live shrimp and it works great. Would recommend

These hooks work. They are light and don't affect the live bait action. And they will hook the fish almost every time in the corner of the mouth. When using live bait like "pilchards" you should use a small rubber ring to keep the pilchard from sliding up the backside and blocking the hook point. If you don't use a ring, you will have issues when fishing live bait hooked through the nose. Rubber ear ring backers work well for this and there are commercial "o-rings" designed to accomplish this.

For 5 years I have exclusively used Owner hooks. I was skeptical at the price, but cheap 5 pack hooks cannot come close to the value, sturdiness and workmanship of Owner. Use them to catch Redfish, flounder, trout and even sharks! Best hooks I ever used and will always be coming back. Corrosion resistant and maintains a razor sharp point for a whole day of fishing. Barbs wear off quickly (compared to Mustad) but that's most likely a problem with me the fisherman and using lots of mullet and live baits. I use size 5 for 30in+ Redfish, 30 to 40" Bluefish and 10 to 30lbs sharks

love these hooks minus the fact they are not really circle hooks. the hooks width compared to size is excellent for those soft bait fish that tend to get ripped off in one bite. when the fish get aggressive i find it helps to keep the bait on the hooks. i use them then throw em back in the tackle box and they do not rust. the edges stay sharp after each hook set. worth the extra money but they do seem to run a bit small.

Red fish beware.

Appears to be genuine owner hooks, which are the best, and this was by far the best deal! We usually get a pack of 8 for $4.29 at the bait shop, so $15 for 46 got us some extras, and the package was unopened with all hooks in there (yes I counted them lol). These are the No. 2, not the 2/0 so make sure you’re ordering the correct size. These are our favorite for catching 20-30”, inshore, with 20# leader, using 2-3” threads, pilchard, and finger mullet. Favorite hooks and super happy to find a good seller here with a price I was happy with :)

Only circle hooks you need. I use for big muttons in the tortugas or live trolling big mullets at port for mega tarpon cant say enough good about owner hooks
