Very small but thorough
Very small! Measures 8”x5” and is 85 pages long. Other than that, I think it will be helpful for me to work on pronunciation as it gives the phonetic pronunciation of each word.

Good Book but Text is Small
Seems well written and easy to understand. The text is, however, pretty small and strains my old eyes. It's a good purchase, nonetheless.

Don't Purchase Spiral Edition
I'm sure the information in the book will be useful. At a glance it looks like it will be helpful in learning some Spanish. However, it is not worth the $15.99 for a spiral version. Purchase the plain paper edition for $4.95. The paper in this book is thin and cheap. The spirals go through the words because it is printed too close to the edges. I liked the idea of spiral to not bend the book. Not worth the extra $10.

Dover Spanish Phrases
First class seller; this editon has what I want because, although I know some Spanish, I need a larger fund of sentence chunks and phrases that allow me to become fluent. This small book does a great job of providing these phrases. This book is exactly what I was hoping it would be.

With a little bit of concentration and effort, a reasonable grasp of the basics of the Spanish language for general conversation can be achieved - this is the first book of Spanish conversation I have read, but seems to cover all the situations a general tourist would need.
