TUG 360° Tangle-Free Retractable Dog Lead for Up to 50 kg Dogs | 5 m Strong Nylon Tape | One-Handed Brake, Pause, Lock (Large, Green)

Great extender lead, holds well. Very satisfied.

Excellent lead strong and easy to hold Love the colour

Strong enough for a medium size dog. Very happy with my purchase. Perfect length and good price. Recommend

Had a few of these, no problems until today. Took my very small 6kg puppy for a walk, tied him up outside a shop, while I was picking up my shopping a stranger told me my dog was inside the shop. He isnt big or sttong enoigh to push the shopdoor open, and he was sjttjng calmly just inside the shop with the clasp still attached to his collar and abouttwo inches of lead. The handle and almost all of the lead were exactlywhere I left them, the lead loked like it had been cut, unless this was done maliciously, I can only assume he followed someone into the shop, the lead got caught under the door and a sharp edge cut the lead. Nothing wrong with the lead, honestly with a tiny puppy I wouldnt want a lead which was too tough to cut through

Great, well made, really smooth action, comfortable, easy to use, love it and free extra piece for aggressive chewers a nice touch

Working well up to now ! Bit concerned of the actual strength of the retractable lead, but my 27kg Staffy has been held with it up to now

Uncomfortable to hold for long periods. Lock is difficult to disengage if the dog is pulling even slightly

The tug tanglefree retractable dog lead is absolutely perfect,it's so easy to use and the extra piece is valuable seeing as my dog does tend to try to chew the lead,it's very strong and great quality, thankyou

This was my second purchase of the same model. The medium still works well a year later after daily use with a 40lb, 3y/o mixed breed. The retractor has begun to fail after 12 months, which is a similar pattern to the first one I bought, but it has been reliable up to this point. It is also very comfortable to hold, even on half-day outings. Actually, I still have the first one, which is solid despite weak and often ineffectual retraction efforts, just in case I needed an emergency backup. She sometimes tries to carry the end in a cute message for me to hurry up (I use the extension) in her mouth, but it shows no wear. She does not try to chew it, but her teeth are in contact at times and I was worried about fraying. She sometimes walks at the end of the leash when she is in a loose leash mode, occasionally pulling. We are working on that! When using the first one of the two, she would run it out often when still new to us (~1y/o 30#), but that has diminished to almost never with training. Still, the first one also last a year even with that abuse. I will buy a third because the first two kept her safe for two years now and so I trust them. We travel often in a travel trailer and leash laws prevail, having physical backup to oral commands has been reassuring to both me and many around me. Up until it has begin to fail (the last 2' do not retract now), it operated seamlessly and reliable in all kinds of weather for about the same amount of time. I have used a large carabiner to attack a pouch of bags to the narrowest part of the handle and that has been working for over a year. One extension (which as included) also lasted as long as the leash, as did the snap hooks on the ends, and with no failures. I am giving 5 stars because of the continuous reliability in a critical mission. Yes, I wish it lasted two years or five, but this is the only thing I have found to wish was improve and that is not worth subtracting a star. At this point, I am simply considering the leash to be an excellent and proven tool that simply needs annual replacement.
