This hard drive is fantastic if you are travelling or want a portable hard drive. It's very easy to use and is powered off your phone, tablet or laptop top. It feels rugged and with the silicone cover it feels like it would take any accidental bumps and knocks. The USB lead is quite short but it works perfectly on the go. I use this hard drive when I'm travelling to back up Jpegs photos from my Canon cameras and touch wood it has worked perfectly every time, when you connect the hard drive to your PC to transfer your files across it is fast and easy to do.

This is the second one of these I bought previously buying a lower capacity version This was really good value for money and great for storage. It is really well built as have taken in on holiday with me in cabin luggage

Purchased to store video files for a music project. Worked well and has been a very reliable drive. Have 2 Transcend drives, a 1 TB which extends storage for our aging ps4 and this one. They've been very reliable drives and I highly recommend them to anyone needing ample external storage where speed is not the essence

A very good looking portable hard drive. This drive is the 4TB and looks very nice. According to the literature on line and various YouTube videos this portable external hard drive is virtually indestructible, so highly recommended. Me gustó el disco duro, es justamente lo que necesitaba. Aunque algo que no me gusta es que se anuncie de 4TB y a la hora de usarlo te marque mucho menos, 3600G. También el cable de conexión se me hace algo delicado. Por lo demás cumple y hasta ahora me ha funcionado bien, no he usado su software el Trascend Elite, pero por lo demás muy bien.

Transfer is slow and the software in built for back up I doubt I'll use. Otherwise a great storage back up drive for the price. Obviously for backups though and not something you'd want to use every day due to speed.

Just had it for two days but so far pretty good. It needs to be formatted for Mac, but it performs well with the supplied cable in disk tests. It's a physical hard drive so I wouldn't expect very high transfer rates. USB-C is great to have but the connection does feel a bit plastic. Using it for backups so feels perfect for that use case.
