After polishing a couple of silver plate soup spoons I feel the Fullers polish does a decent job, it's ends up cleaning as good as HAPPICH 'Simichrome' I generally use - but does take a little more effort. I only polished the two OUTER spoons. The one on the left is Simichrome - the right is Fullers I don't think you can tell them apart. (they're very shinny but between the suns glare and shadows it's hard to tell) Both creams are about the same consistency - and can be difficult to remove from tight areas like any cream. (Same results with Wright's cream) The Fullers is competitive at $30.00 for 8oz when you compare it to HAPPICH 'Simichrome' 1.76oz tube currently on Amazon for $13.77 These spoons were particularly dark and took quite a bit of rubbing with both creams. Sometimes in cases like that I use Tarn-x which gets a lot off but leaves the item yellowish. > Then use a cream. Of course this isn't a good idea with some jewelry and settings. The Fuller micro-cloths are nice and do well cleaning / buffing shinny. My main issue with this product is the bottle which is stiff and difficult to get the cream out of and is the reason for 3 stars. The contents don't pour out of the bottle. I'll eventually have to cut it open and put contents in a different jar.

The silver cleaner/polish is the main item here of course and it works great. You can use it with any cloth or cleaning tool you like. The cloths in this set are just typical thin microfiber cloths - nothing special at all and some of them actually had holes or what looked like slices where the hem is, so the hem is sort of like a loop. The fabric just rose away from the hem. I could care less about the cloths because I just wanted the polish, but if you actually do want the cloths you may be a little disappointed if you get some that are ripped as well. The good thing is that the rips are at the edge, along the hem, so they do not interfere with actually using them at all. As with any decent microfiber cloth, they really do, do a good job with cleaning and picking up dust. You can clean the windows to streak free with no products at all. Now if you have kids hand prints and dog snot on your windows.. or tv... or stove door like I do, then you'll want to use a cleaning product with it, or at least some water but for typical upkeep they can be used plain with good results.

The silver polish is easy to use: shake, apply with a soft cloth, rub to remove oxidation, rinse and dry. The 10 microfiber cloths are soft and well made. To test the polish I took out a silver sugar bowl that hasn't been used in years - as the dark brown oxidation shows in my before, during, and after photos. The bottle has a safety seal inside it and when I removed the seal there was a dab of cleaner stuck to the inside of it. I rubbed that onto 1/2 of the sugar bowl lid and rubbed with an old cloth (no way was I using the brand new microfiber cloths that came with the polish for that messy chore!) That tiny bit of polish cleaned all the tarnish from 1/2 of the lid! It only took a minute with no hard rubbing necessary. Finished up the job with a little more cleaner from the bottle. Note that the plastic bottle has a snap cap with a very small hole. That made it easy to dispense just the small amount needed to do the cleaning. The cleaner has a mild kind of soapy scent. As you can see from my photo of the cleaning cloth, there was a lot of tarnish to remove. Rinsed and dried the lid with one of the microfiber cloths and it looks like new. The microfiber cloths are a nice 10" x 10" size for jobs like that - not too small and not too large. The edges of the cloth are well finished with tight, close together stitching. The cloths came with a full page instructions sheet which is funny because the silver polish just came with the minimal instructions printed on the bottle. I am very happy with this concentrated silver polish with a mild scent and 10 new microfiber cloths.

I love cleaning silver. I have found that different pieces require a different approach. My collection is primarily jewelry and flatware but I also clean for a friend who runs a second hand shop. Shiny sells better than tarnish. While I prefer Wenol for large pieces and brass, this cleaner works very well on chains and smaller more intricate items. I find it removes tarnish easily. I like how quickly it rinses. It is fast and does a nice job getting an item to its shiny best. If the item does not have stones or glue, I will follow up with an ultrasonic type cleaner. Low scent. Easy to use. Effective. The microfiber cloths capture and hold dirt well.

Although this silver polish did a good job getting some silver plated dining utensils nice and shiny again, if I was looking for silver polish to buy I'd probably pass on this one. I think it's too expensive for what you get. The extra cloths are nice, but we all have rags around the house for such chores. I'm still giving it 5 stars just because it really does work at getting tarnish off of silverware.

This Fuller Brush silver polish is easy to use and works very well. It is also nice that it leaves a protective coating so I should not have to polish silver so often.
