Errors and lack of breakdown in answers
My son completed this book for exam practice and as long as you are able to understand what is required to get the right answer when your child doesn't know what to do, or gets the wrong answer, then this resource is useful for maths practice. However if you are unable to understand how to help your child understand how to find the answer there are no explanations at the back as to how to get to the correct answer. Also I found three issues with the answers in the back- Section B Paper 1 question 5 - not sure the question is written correctly, think it should read 'Prove the triangle ABC is congruent to the triangle ACD'.- Section B Paper 1 question 13 - the triangle illustration shows no resemblance to the actual triangle you'd get using the angles. The answer shows the angle of x as over 90 degrees but the angle in the illustration is an acute angle obviously much less than 90 degrees. This makes the question very confusing. It should be drawn properly even if angles not exact when using a protractor- Section B Paper 2 question 8 - Question asks for answers to 1 decimal place but the answer sheet gave i) to no decimal places and ii) and iii) to two decimal places.

Marking Scheme not fit for purpose
It appears that the marks for each question have been plucked out of a hat. There is no breakdown in the marking scheme as to each component to no help whatsoever for exam practice.Unfortunately I bought Y7, 8 and 9 of these and while they have practice questions, students have no clue how the marks are allocated. It was embarrasing to use this resource with students.
