Platinum or Gold Plated Sterling Silver Antique Ring set with Asscher-Cut Infinite Elements Cubic Zirconia

First I want to say WOW!!! We got one day shipment and it was right on time!!! Hands down the best purchase I've ever made! I wear a 6.5 and ordered a 6 and it fits perfectly, snug but in the summer I would definitely order a 7. If you are a half size I would say go up in size and not down, it would feel more comfortable and then you may not need to have 2 sets for summer and winter. This ring is breath taking!!! The center stone is not as big as everyone keeps saying it is. It's actually perfect/believable! Ladies this ring does NOT look fake, or cheap! I don't know why some people say it does! It looks like I should have paid way more for it then I did! It's very sturdy! And it looks like it will hold up for a long time, if you take care of it properly. I highly recommend this ring!!!! Just do it, you won't be disappointed! I Promise! I will update the review in a month or so! Update After 1 week and couple days! The ring is still beautiful! No green fingers, no lost stones, the center stone is still very sturdy. I do dishes with it on, clean, take showers, pretty much everything and it's holding up pretty well. It does get a little "dirty" but when it does I think it looks better and more authentic!!! I still love the ring and I am really happy with this purchase! Had the ring for a couple months now. No lost stones. The center stone is still very sturdy but it did get a little cloudy. A little clean with a soft toothbrush does the job though. Still sparkles as it did when it arrived.

I’m so in love with this set!! I originally ordered this to wear when I worked or to travel. My job is somewhat physical & didn’t want to lose any diamonds or worry when I travel with my real set. I wish this came in 1/2 sizes. My real set is a 5 but I had to order a 6 in this because I wanted to be able to wear it when my fingers swell in the summer. The 6 is a tad big when my fingers are cold but will be fine for when it’s warmer out. I love this set so much I just ordered it in a 5 also to occasionally wear it out! I’m sure my husband won’t be pleased (he gets offended when I don’t wear the one he bought me) 😂 but I just can’t get over how pretty this set is. It’s so different from my real one. I have a 1 1/2 carat solitaire with a eternity band & this center stone is the same size without the halo around. The platinum on it matches my real one so well! Sometimes sterling silver looks to bright that it’s fake looking. I’m glad they put platinum over the sterling on this set. It’s so real looking! Even the band by itself looks good. It has great sparkle, fabulous vintage detail, a nice weight to it and the bands on both rings are nice and thick, not thin and flimsy. The details go around the whole rings on the side and bottom. I’ve included pictures with my real set to show you how believable it is! Don’t hesitate to order this set you will not be disappointed. I know I’m not!! It has exceeded my expectations!! I’m so happy I ordered it!!

My first husband sold a muscle car to buy me a really good quality diamond. It was a VS2,I color diamond round brilliant cut set in 14K yellow gold. I took it upon myself to learn as much as I could about diamonds and gemstones after that, because if a man sells a Mopar for you, well, that's pretty special. The stone in this set is Asscher cut which right off the bat makes it unusual. The Asscher family originated this cut back in the 19th century, prior to the creation of our modern day rotary stone cutter. That's where a lot of the vintage feel comes from with this ring. Asscher cut diamonds are not very common, though they can be found. This cut was based on the Renaissance Era "table cut" which was square and graduated in steps. The Asscher Family improved this with the beveled corners and the windmill faceting to allow as much fire and refractive light as they could through the stone. I keep reading that the stone is too large for some wearer's hands. I have short fingers which are wide at the base, and this ring looks fine on me. Because I have wider fingers, I find that more dainty pieces look very odd on my hands. This looks just right on me. I would also like to point out that the color and clarity of the primary stone is just remarkable! There is a lot of fire in this stone and it is equivalent in color to my VS2, E color diamond earrings, which I rarely wear because they were so expensive. They are nowhere near the carat size of this stone, but the fire and lustre in those nearly colorless diamonds is a good match for the Swarovski crafted CZ in this ring. I wear them together and you can not tell one from the other The pave stone work on these rings is pretty good and compared to the pave work on my real wedding band, with its diamonds in 14K white gold, I prefer the pave and filigree on this set - that may be due to the shine of the rhodium /platinum plating on this set. It's very well done. All in all, I wish my first husband knew about this set 20 years ago. He could have kept the Mopar... At least he would still have one of us. The price is right, the delivery was prompt and I am quite pleased with them and will be wearing them as my right hand set to accompany my lovely set from the final and finest husband.

I originally purchased this ring because I lived in a section of a large city that felt rather unsafe, so I didn't want to wear my original diamonds while walking the dogs and draw attention. (It's not that my wedding set is worth $1M nor anything remotely close, but call me sentimental. I would be heart-broken if I lost it or someone forced me to give the rings up.) However, I never realized that this Asscher cut-style ring actually looked real due to its specific cut of the stone. I was happy to sport my little ring and chuckled, well, if I did get robbed, I would only lose $40, although the trauma of it all would certainly be lasting. The thing is, my husband and I were walking back with the dogs, and as we passed the train station, one guy came out from behind the wall and began to follow me. He got too close for my comfort, so I swirled around and stopped in front of him, and in a VERY loud voice asked if I could help him. It must have broken his pattern of thinking because he stopped, looked at me, and then abruptly crossed the street. Later, I realized that it must have been the ring. Needless to say - I decided that NO ring was worth being robbed over, even if it was only $40! I never wore any rings again until I moved from that area. I said all of that to say this - the cut is beautiful and the stone is beautiful - and I am glad I trusted the other reviews to make my purchase. I have had this ring for more than 3 years now and have banged it and it still looks great. We moved to the suburbs, so now I do feel comfortable wearing my wedding ring set and wear this one (without the band) on my right hand because it's just too pretty to leave at home. I am definitely no curator of fine jewelry, so if someone else wore this ring, I would be thinking, "Bling, bling, baby - bling, bling!!" Apparently my friends are not curators of fine jewelry either because a friend of mine who was visiting from out of town couldn't take her eyes off of it during lunch. I finally just told her where I bought it - I didn't want her to think I was making all kinds of money and be on the hook for dinner, too!! :D

I have to give a mixed review on this one. Pros: Gorgeous ring that has a lot of intricate detail on the band and setting. The center and halo stones are clear and sparkly and do not "fog up" like glass or CZ though you can still do the "breath test" and it won't pass like a diamond will. I bought this set for cruising and when I can't wear my real 1 ct diamond VVS1. ok, the CONS: All of the great things previously mentioned were on the REPLACEMENT ring shipped to me. The first one had a corner halo stone fall OUT within 3 days! I work at a desk all day and the roughest thing I do with this trying it out was wash my hands. When the replacement arrived I saw just how much of the platinum coating had dulled down. Also the original did NOT come with the genuine Swarovski tag and when put side by side, the cut was not 100% symmetrical on the original ring. This affected it because improper cut makes a fake look like glass and not a decent diamond knock off. I am showing some photos next to my real gold band and a real diamond cocktail ring for comparison. Be aware this is a little big too big to be believable unless you make over $200k a year, its believable on a cruise ship or at a wedding perhaps but not day to day at the office or where people know you couldn't possibly afford the original. Enjoy it for what it is, a really nice and fun fake that's an enjoyable pretend piece or a great surprise if someone tries to steal your ring traveling!

Looks good after a month of heavy use while waiting for my real set to be replated and setting fixed. I've gotten lots of compliments although the center stone is a little too big and blingy for my taste. Feels very light, almost aluminum sounding when the 2 rings clink together but I sized up for ease of removal as I'm super preggo. Definitely worth the money and will be used on vacations and such. I just give it a quick scrub with my toothbrush after I rinse it off each am and this has helped tremendously. No issues with stone or the settings. And frequently needs to be adjusted for correct placement (so the stones in front line up) Update March 2018: Wearing this daily as my real ring’s fix made the setting stick out more and now scratches the kids and my patients (I’m a RN at a large hospital). It has held up beautifully. I’m not worried about losing it. It’s easy to clean (toothbrush with water rinse) and still looks new and fancy. I work with solutions and bleach and can’t tell any difference. The complements continue. I tell everyone where they can get one. I’ve gotten used to the larger center stone size which is only bad for my hubby one day.

Well I was surprised that my wife really liked it, especially because she likes the real stuff. This ring is beautiful, I can’t comment on durability yet we’ll see in 6 months.

Absolutely beautiful ring, BUT it supposed to be a set of two! Lovely present from my husband for our anniversary. Was looking forward for it. Now arriving fully properly packed but only half of the set! What a “nice” surprise from Amazon on the special occasion! Shame!!!

I was slightly wary of buying these thinking they would look cheap or stain my hand and honestly i have had them now a few months and haven't taken them off. I absolutely love them. They are stunning. I get sooooo many compliments about them. And I am just so happy that i took a chance on them.
