Works great!
This sunscreen works great. My dog loves to sleep on his back in the sun and he burns his belly all the time. He doesn't really like to have this sprayed on him, but I think it is just because it is in an aerosol can. He hasn't acted like it actually bothered him at all. He also doesn't try to lick it to that makes me feel good. Very easy to use. and seems to last at least an entire day if not longer.

canine sunscreen
adopted a senior dog who had lost all of his hair on his back due to allergies and neglect. After some love and attention he began to want to fo outside and enjoy nature This Sunscreen kept him from getting painful sunburn and allowed him to saty outside for longer amounts of time on sunny days a great start to a new life A year later when my 11 yr old German Shepherd began loosing pigment on her nose from an auto immune problem, this helped keep her safe from sunburn as well

This comes in a bottle just like spray on sunscreen for humans
My little terrier mix has a mostly naked belly with basically peach fuzz and her skin is very pink (her hair is white everywhere else) so I started worrying about her belly getting burned. I do have to give a disclaimer in that I have only used it once and she ended up not having that much or long of direct sun exposure so I don't know if it would have sunburned anyway. So my review is just about use of the product and I will update if I have a more direct sun exosure experience. This comes in a bottle just like spray on sunscreen for humans. I sprayed it on my hands and rubbed it all over her belly. No or very slight smell, she didn't mind me rubbing it on, it didn't irritate her skin at all (which, again is very pink and hardly any hair) and best was she didn't mess with it at all. This surprised me as usually when you put any substance on a dog they will start licking it and I was actually worried about that but she never thought twice about it. Maybe because I did it with my hands so it wasnt cold and maybe because I didn't spray it on her, which I don't think she woud have liked. I carry it now in her bag that I take everywhere. Better safe than sorry and I hope that it works well, if we are out in the sun for a long time

Really works, and is safe.
This stuff really works. I've tried several other dog safe "sunscreens" and none of them were effective. My dog has a scar on his snout from before he was rescued off the streets as a puppy, and because he has no fur covering that section, it easily turns pink and blisters and bleeds when he's in the sun. Plus my vet was concerned that he could develop skin cancer with all the constant sun exposure. But all of the pet safe sunscreens I could find didn't have any ingredients that would actually block UV rays, and all the ones that had effective sun blocking ingredients weren't pet safe, so it seemed like a catch-22. It took me a long time to find one that both worked effectively and was safe. This is it! It doesn't irritate his skin at all. We can go to the beach for a couple of hours, and his skin looks just as good as it did at the beginning of the day, whereas in the past it would have burnt. So glad to have found this product.

Good for Pink Noses!
Got this for my husky, he has a pink nose and some of his skin is exposed on the top area. Before using this, his skin would get sunburned! I bought this and had my vet review it, she said it looks safe so I used it on my dog's nose each time we go out hiking during the day and it prevents his nose from getting sun damage. His nose doesn't even turn a different shade after using this. The con tho - it smells like vanilla. Why does that matter for a dog? Anyway, I spritz it on my hand then rub it on the nose and it works well.

Stopped spraying
Works great and I’ve used it before, but this time the can stopped spraying when it was still half full. Too expensive to lose half the product.

Best Dog Sunscreen on Amazon
Love this product. The aerosol canister allows quick application at all angles (ie armpits, groin). Aerosol also goes on light and even, quickly drying. Is the largest bottle of sunscreen avail so need to order (read:pay for shipping) less. Top has locking lid to keep little kids out. When it says "meets the FDA guidelines" it means for ingredient stability and safety. Proven to stay good for a year with normal storage. Waterproof and "lick-safe" once dry - drys almost instantly. It isn't greasy, though you will notice a slight difference in coat texture - kind of feels like a very fine dusting of talc powder - but hands come away clean. Smells nice (vanilla). Blocks both UVA and UVB rays - contains 5 different sunscreen ingredients (as found in human sunscreens), in addition to skin conditioners. Rates equivalent to 30-40 SPF (you only get to say "equivalent" because the SPF scale was developed using human skin). Brand respected and carried by veterinary dermatologists. Introduce the new sound and smell of this product with treats and praise and your dog will love it as much as mine does!

Perfect sunscreen for my dog.
The short version: Love this product. My dog doesn't try to lick it, it isn't sticky or weird smelling. Well, it smells like sunscreen. The aerosol is gentle, not startling, it's easy to us at all angles. Suggest to anyone with fair skinned dogs. The long version: Shortly after we adopted Delilah, she got this tiny little bump that looked like a mole. The vet suggested we biopsy it, since her medical history was unknown to us, and make sure it wasn't cancer. It wasn't. Whew. The vet explained it was the sun causing the blood vessels close to the surface of her skin to... never mind, it's technical. But she has a sun sensitivity. She's got white skin under that ginger fur. Guess she takes after me. We learned it's called Canine Solar Dermititis (or Canine Solar Urticaria), which is, when she goes outside, and lays around, she gets hives. Sometimes it looks awful. And these bumps could turn into more of those mole things. This is perfect for when we are out in the sun for a few hours, like the beach. Or when it's a nice day and she wants to lay on the porch and sunbathe. It does feel nice. I also use another sunscreen, after her bath while she's still a bit damp. It's supposedly good for 8 days. It's called Quic Screen. Exhibitor Laboratories Quic Screen Sunscreen

Grasoso
