How come o can get the same switch for 199.00 from ubiquiti?

I can confirm I just successfully purchased the US-8-150W (Unifi 8 port gigabit PoE + 2 SFP ports) direct from Ubiquiti for $199 + tax.

Is the 8port 150w switch silent? tech spec says 35 dba but fanless. is it silent from a few feet away?

The 5 and 8 ports are fanless, 16 and above have fans. Just make sure you keep space all around the fanless ones for proper airflow.

Can you trunk the switch ports? we are running two vlans for guest/internal wireless and need to be able to trunk coming off the router

Yes, these are L2 managed switches. Trunking does work.
