What is a good rod to pair with this reel if i want to use it for jigging

I recently considered the St. Croix 12’ Heavy Action for my Penn Spinfisher 6 (Size 9500) for Surf Casting down in The Gulf and Jekyll Island, Ga. ( I do own a St. Croix for Trout,$130)... $670.00 or more on the St. Croix. Take a good look at the OKUMA 10’ or 11’ Heavy Spin. The BerryPro in the same length is another good pole. If none of these fit your needs, look at a Heavy Action St. Croix. The 12’ Fiblink in also a good reel. But be sure to buy the Fiblink that is labeled as UPDATED.
