Not a perfect “Runts” substitute but good enough
I was craving the banana Runts but didn’t want to waste the rest of the box of candy. (I’m weird. I only love the banana flavored ones.) So when I saw these I was excited because I was hopeful they were the same. Well, they are not. They’re just not as intensely flavorful. These are fine, and I ate them all. But, they are AS banana flavored as the original Runts are. I probably would not purchase again but there wasn’t anything really wrong with them. I just wanted more flavor. On the positive side, on couldn’t get over just how big the bag was!!! There were soooo many!!!

Tastes like a chalky moldy lemon rind
I love banana flavored candies and banana runts are one of my favorites, if you are expecting banana runts do not buy. When you first bite into these you will be hit with a strong taste of sour citric acid with a hint of mold then as you chew your taste buds will be disappointed with a chalky flavor with mixed with some banana then followed with that sour moldy aftertaste. I was excited to receive these but my disappointment was immeasurable and my day ruined.
