Medarchitect Wooden Prader Orchidometer, 12-Bead Testis Scale with Pouch

The orchidometer ended up going to my brother, who runs a pediatric practice and trains residents rotating through his clinic. He has been using it for about three weeks now during well-child visits and for teaching purposes. The wooden beads are sanded smooth with no rough spots or splinters, and the color coding from green through yellow to orange makes the staging conversation easier with residents who are still learning. Numbers are printed clearly on each bead and have not rubbed off with regular handling. The string slides easily so you can isolate one bead at a time without the others getting in the way. The drawstring pouch is plain but holds everything compactly enough to fit in a coat pocket. He said the size and weight feel close to what he trained on in residency, and the beads have held up to daily handling without chipping at the edges.

I needed a simple measurement tool for reference purposes, and this one has been easy to work with. The wooden beads have a smooth finish, and the different sizes are easy to compare during use. I like that the overall design is straightforward without unnecessary parts, and the wooden material gives it a professional appearance. The beads feel sturdy and durable, and everything moves smoothly without sticking. The compact size also makes storage convenient when not in use. I gave it 4 stars because clearer size markings would make identification a little faster. Overall, I have been satisfied with the quality and feel it offers good value for a specialized instrument.

Product quality was good. And it delivered within 2 days, before time
