I have been postponing buying new knives because I really wanted some good quality knives but not the break the bank kind of knives! I have bought knife sets dozens of times, received them as gifts etc. you know the ones that come in their own knife block. My experience is that the block is usually worth more than the knives. I have purchased electric knife sharpeners, stones etc. and yet they never seem to hold an edge for very long. THESE knives however, are very good quality, I was fortunate enough to find them at a reduced price and I am VERY happy with them. They are RAZOR sharp however so be careful! I sliced my finger tip just washing them!!! They are a little bit lighter weight than I would prefer but at 73 my hands aren’t what they use to be so I think overall they are perfect for me. They came well packaged, with extensive care pamphlet. I have been using them daily for about two weeks now and actually enjoying cooking again. Amazing what a good sharp knife can do!

I was hoping these would be razor sharp but they are not. Generally good and OK, the right quality for the price. Not impressed with the minor metal stains on the blades. These have never been put in the dishwasher. OK overall but not a great item for this German name brand.

These knives live up to their reputation. They keep their sharpness and are very durable. Excellent grip. I’ve been using them for several months, and the blade thickness continues to impress me. I enjoy quickly slicing when I’m cooking. Love them.
