I ordered the shock mount to stop the noise we get on the podium at church when folks bump the wood podium and it worked. The foam windscreen also helps a lot with the plosives on the mic. Really good price for the quality mount.

I only gave it low marks because It didn’t work because I ordered the wrong size. The equipment was in good condition and would’ve been fine if i got the correct size

You get what you pay for.

I was looking for something to hold my Apogee iMic so i could get it off my desk. After verifying the circumference of the mic I found that this was able to open up far enough to accommodate the iMic. Had to use some pliers to get it fully open since the spring is super strong. Worked like a champ.

So I do Instructional Videos and this mount has reduced the amount of post-editing on the audio tracks, so as to its function, GREAT! 1 caveat is that I am using a corded Shure SM-58 and the mount is a little big so the microphone sits lower than I would like. The solution is to add a bit of grip tape or similar to the metal spring clamp in the center and then you have a little more flexibility in mounting your microphone. That is the only reason I am giving 4 stars

OK for a cheap mount. No issues, just not overwhelmed. Haven't tested sound transference yet, so do not know how the "shock reduction factor" holds up.

Exactly what I was hoping for. Mic fits perfectly and is sturdy. I recommend this product personally.
