The perfect color.

I am a natural redhead, and even though I have mostly grey hair now, have always had a very hard time finding hair color that wouldn’t make my hair too dark. This is the first product that actually covers the grey and delivers a light reddish blond color. Yay!

Love the shade and shine it gave to my previously dull rusty orange color... the only big downside was terrible smell and burning in the eyes and nose,could barely finish dying my hair with closed eyes.

Use this brand almost exclusively!!

Though I live in a large suburban area, this color was no longer available locally. I have been using it for several years to tone down the white appearing in my aging red hair in a way that doesn't look dyed. I find Preference easier to use than Excellence and this color is just right. I am grateful for Amazon's sourcing and availability.

I've used L'Oreal Preference hair color for years and it still does the job for me. I have long hair so I need three boxes of color to adequately cover my whole head. And I try to match my natural color (except for the gray!), so I find that if I mix together one bottle each Light Golden Blonde, Golden Blonde, and Reddish Blonde, the color is perfect. And it lasts for 4-5 months before I have to color again.

I really love the 9GR light golden red color as it is pretty close to the color I want (peach blonde). I would really love an actual light peach blonde color to be made. This color would be perfect if it was a little lighter, like a 9.5 or 10 GR. I've been using Preference for 25 years, and I think it's a great brand. Even tried the other line for gray. My only issues are that it doesn't cover gray well at all, nor does the other line, and it turns my roots and nape of the neck hair very brassy orange, no matter if I get cool or warm toned color. I have strong stubborn hair. I've tried about every color available over the years. Please create a 9.5 or 10 peach blonde, pretty please. Also, a warm blonde/peach root spray would be heavily appreciated, as the other ones (dark blonde) are too brown and super dark on my roots.

Excellent coverage of Gray hair. This is the only color that I use and I get compliments all the time on my hair. Gentle and effective and I highly recommend this product.
