Excellent Digital Piano at a ridiculously affordable price
I've had this digital piano for about two weeks now and I love it, the weighted keys feel really good, very similar to the feel of a regular piano, so much so that if you push a key light enough, it simulates a real piano where no sound comes out and the more force you apply, the louder the note. The sound is very good too, the speakers are powerful and I'm usually going at 25-50% volume as the speakers can get quite loud. Its also really nice that you get two headphone jacks at the front instead of the back, its very convenient placement. Just make sure to get an adapter as the opening is 1/4 inch and a lot of headphones are 1/8. All of this with a nice looking, sturdy piano stand for less than $400 is just a steal. A similar set up (piano, stand and the three pedals) from a brand name would be in the $800 range. For a complete beginner like me, its probably not worth it to spend double. I didn't use the many tunes and different instrument sounds the keyboard is capable of producing as I'm only interested in piano for now, but there is a huge variety to choose from.

First Rate piano
Amazing sound, clarity, and impressive volume. For years I had big name brand piano (starts with a "Y"). This one far exceeds that quality. Couldn't be happier.

Very pleased
I was looking for an appropriate substitute for an acoustic piano to refresh my piano skills from having learned piano as a child. My primary requirements were 88 weighted keys, good reviews, good quality, attractive stand, that didn’t break the bank. This Donner piano has met and exceeded my initial expectations thus far. I haven’t explored all the features yet (just received yesterday), but am very pleased with the grand piano sound, and it feels just like an acoustic piano. I did purchase the extended coverage in case of defaults, but everything is working great so far. I’ve already logged several hours of play time in just 2 days. Great value for the money. Regarding setup: I was able to assemble the stand by myself with just a screwdriver. However, two person assembly would have made the process simpler. 🎶 🎹

Affordable, Playable, 88 Key Fully Weighted Piano
I wanted a fully weighted midi controller that was affordable. I just received it and set it up. Will hopefully add more info later. OVERVIEW Affordable 88 weighted keys Has a screen (small) Putting together was easy. Average speakers and sound. Great price point for what you get DETAILS On sale with the "piano" look made it cheaper than buying just the keyboard and a separate stand. Took my daughter and I 15 minutes to assemble the pieces, maybe. Used my drill to mostly put it together and then a screwdriver to tighten enough but not too much. Sounds on it are fine. Nothing great. But typical for such an instrument. I bought it for midi ultimately so it's built in sounds don't matter to me. But I am glad it has its own speakers and some decent sounds. It doesn't have a bunch of great assignable buttons or sliders for midi (I bought a Korg nanoKONTROL2 MIDI Control). I'll be using a Mac and Mainstage. The screen is small. So compared to other screens it's a weakness. But at this price point you can look at it and be thankful it has a screen. No scroll wheel for navigation is a negative. The built in piano stand version comes with three footpedals which is nice, but I have yet to meet a piano player in the last decade that cares about two of those pedals. Volume control is normal. Speakers are plenty loud for practice at home or group of 20 people singing with you. Sounds a bit better through a sound system and good speakers. Right now the sound comes thru its own speakers and the system speakers. Haven't researched yet, but there may be a setting to change it. I know my piano players will appreciate the built in speakers being in when plugged in. Keys are nicely weighted - good enough for 90% or more of all piano players. They aren't fancy and don't feel as much like the real thing as some keyboards. Shouldn't bother most people. It used to be that fully weighted midi controller keyboards didn't exist. So at this price point, I think it's a good deal. Power chord isn't long. Music stand is average. Same height as the traditional piano it replaced. The keys alone looked slightly longer than 88 piano keys - but close. A piano student could use this for years and it would be more than adequate. Even with the stand, it doesn't weigh much. Why only 4 stars? At its price point I could give it 5 stars. But too many little things could be better. I hope to review this in a few months.

Comparable to a grand
I’ve looked for a digital piano that was as close as possible to the feel and sound of a real grand piano, & this one did not disappoint! It is a full keyboard & the keys are weighted and feel like you’re playing a real piano & not digital. I feel the sound quality is great & the pedals function as they should. I ordered it with the stand and it was super easy to set up. The keyboard is a tad on the heavy side, but I was able to manage it by myself, but 2 people to set it up onto the stand is easier. This is a great compromise if you don’t have the space or budget for a grand piano, but want a similar feel & sound of one.

10 Dead Keys on arrival...BUT customer service is EXCELLENT.
There are several keys that do not play (about 10) and several others that play a chord instead of a single note (about 9). Also, there was some oil like fluid on the piano/keyboard when I opened it. Called Donner USA and got a recording. Emailed them too, we shall see if they respond. The number & email is on the back of the user’s manual. Really wanted to like this product, bought it for my 11 yr old budding pianist. Broke his heart. Get it together Donner 7/5/2023 Review Update - Amazing Customer Service. Truly professional and interested in maintaining happy customers. Within a day of sending my initial email, I was contacted by Donner where I explained my situation and sent them a video of the malfunctioning keyboard. Within a couple of days I received an email saying that I would be receiving a new replacement unit. It arrived as promised and is in PERFECT condition. Throughout the process Donner CS has been there every step of the way, even after it arrived to check up on us. Did I mention professional? in short...Sometimes you get a dud...these people understand that and are willing to fix things. Thank you Donner, my son LOVES his keyboard. And yes it does sound excellent.
