I love these meals comes alittle bland so I don't microwave I sawtay on stove.What I did is I put little olive oil in a non stick pan I let olive oil heat for 2 mins. Than I put fried rice in pan with olive oil than I added diced Onions and one can of sweet peas and I seasoned with garlic power and dash seasoning and onion salt and let it sawtay for about 7 minutes. Tasted like chinese restaurant fried rice. I buy these for my pantry for hard times. Taste great using my method can eat with some fried shrimp 🍤 . Fast fried rice

Tasty, quick and good storage
Like all these for a quick, tasty meal. They are well worth the cost. I am trying all of these and Amazon makes them all a cost effective quick meal. Recommend you try what ever one.

Good&messy.
The product is very tasty. The chicken and rice are a good combination. The only drawback is during the cooking prcess the container flips upside while heating, which makes a mess in the microwave. I have put a weight across the container to stop the flip.

Just OK To be absolutely honest
Okay, so I'm not exactly a picky eater. I understand that frozen/shelf stable meals aren't meant to be 5 star cuisine. That's and I think I just might have found my LEAST FAVORITE Hormel Compleat meal. I will still eat these as I can't stand throwing food away. But, not your best Hormel. Hardly ANY chicken, soupy texture and kind of expensive for what you get. Also kind of a weird after taste. I don't think I'll be getting these again.

Convenient meal easy to microwave and stores at room temperature.
Hormel Compleats was really easy to heat and tasted really good. It's very convenient versus canned meals which require a separate container to heat. It's shelf stable at room temperature unlike a frozen meal.

Yuck!
This looks nothing like the photo and tastes terrible! It is watery and not thick at all. I have tried a few other Compleats, all of which I like and have reordered. But this one missed the mark big time! I don't ask for refunds very often, but it was that bad!

Cooks up in 1;10 min in my microwave. Easy to have a quick meal when you just don't want to bother. Sometimes I add other ingredients to this after cooking to have a different meal. then just heat for a few more minutes so all is hot. Great for any time you want something to eat. I keep an assortment of these meals on hand in summer when its too hot to cook. Heck I stock them all year round!! Recommend to other non picky eaters. Best is its not overwelmed with peas!!
