Good for big and small hands
I got the biggest paddle (black/white) to work with my large hands as I rehab a torn rotator cuff in the pool. My thumb is over the edge at the joint while my fingertips are close to the other edges of the board for a sense of scale. The inner edge (thumb) is scalloped and this make it comfortable for me to hook with my thumb while I swim (slowly) and do resistance exercises in the pool (great for the injury I have with the slow motion and constant loading). So that's big hands. However, I've also been using them with octogenarians that I train. Including women with very small hands and they like them very much for both swimming and resistance. They loop two fingers in the upper loop (where I use 1) and we just tighten the tubes around the wrist. I can see the tubes wearing out in the not too distant future and we'll have to find replacements, but the boards are well made and I expect that we'll get thousands of uses out of them. If you're a recreational swimmer and thinking the "big boards" will be too big, I'll say that hasn't proven to be the case for the people that have used my set. You just might want to size up to start and not have to worry about moving up later.

useful training tool!
These are great for training my swimming stroke! When I measured my hand, I was between sizes S & M, so I went with a small to get practice. May or may not get another larger set in the future. I expect these to last a long time! They fit well and are certainly helping me build my swimming strength!

Yessss….the swimming paddles !!
Those paddles are truly great , comfortable and fit for my hands when I swim, but seriously think maybe they should be more curved in their shape.

Builds power and strength!
Really fun working out with these paddles. Does take a bit of adaptation to hydroplane functionally yet that also helps improve recovery entry. Definitely feel the muscular pump in my delts. I recommend ‘em!

I've been using training paddles for years and these are among the top two pairs I've ever owned. Very light and smooth in use. Excellent for technique and building stamina. One quibble: the main image shown in the ad. led me to believe the paddles were contoured; they're not - they're flat. Other than that - it's hard to go wrong with Speedo. I've been swimming for over 50 years and I've never had an issue with any of their products...
