I put some alfalfa seeds in these, and all of them went right through the huge holes and slots. I guess if you're only sprouting large seeds these could be okay. But I bet if you're sprouting, there's not much chance you're not also sprouting the small seeds like alfalfa and broccoli. Don't bother buying these!

Doesn't drain, ends up stinky. Great concept just didn't work.

Very disappointed. They do not fit any wide lid mason jars...

I have a small kitchen so another drying rack isn’t practical for me to dry sprouts. These are incredible because the jars stand on their own and don’t take up additional space. Love them!

no complaints, features as advertised. One observation, seems consistently the volume of growth between jars that use this lid vs the tradition metal screen type of lids, this seem to produce a little less volume of growth but because of the design features, worth continuing to use them. The volume is not significantly less but was wondering why.... takes a little longer to drain, so maybe the air flow is a little less, thus a little less growth???? just speculation. Still a good product.

Have to shake pretty strongly to get the water out of the jar through the strainer.Hole size and configuration seem to find them lodged in holes so consistently have to dislodge manuallyFirst batch so hoping still successful

The lids are sturdy spouting lids for wide-mouthed Ball jars but they have little legs that allow them to be set upside down in the little water-collecting trays that come with the lids. Very convenient.
