A Culinary Game Changer - My Kitchen's New MVP!
Hey there, fellow foodies and kitchen wizards! Mike P. here, back with another review of a kitchen gadget that has absolutely blown my culinary world apart - the Hamilton Beach Food Processor & Vegetable Chopper (70735). Strap yourselves in because this little beast is about to elevate your cooking game to a whole new level! First off, let me say this thing looks slick as can be in that stainless steel finish. It's like having a shiny piece of culinary art right on my countertop, and it's become the star of my kitchen show. But looks aside, it's the functionality that truly matters, and let me tell you, this machine is an absolute powerhouse. With its 10-cup capacity, it tackles slicing, shredding, mincing, and pureeing tasks like a pro. No more wasting precious time on endless chopping and dicing by hand. I can now blitz through mountains of veggies in no time, leaving me with more moments to savor my creations. And oh boy, does it make a mean salsa! The consistency is just right - not too chunky, not too smooth - just perfect. But wait, there's more! The Veggie Spiralizer attachment is a godsend for health-conscious folks like me. Say hello to guilt-free zoodles and ribbons that make me feel like I'm devouring a feast of flavors without the carb overload. It's like having a secret weapon to keep my meals exciting and nutritious. Now, let's talk about the motor power. This bad boy is a workhorse. I thought it would buckle under pressure when I put it through the shredding test with a mountain of carrots, but it handled it like a champ. No whining, no stalling - just pure blending bliss. The pulse feature gives me that extra control when needed, which is great when I want to achieve that perfect texture. Cleanup is a breeze too, which is a big deal for lazy cooks like me. All the parts are dishwasher-safe, and trust me, I've put them through the wringer, and they come out shiny and ready for the next culinary adventure. The only tiny drawback I can find is that it might be a bit noisy for some folks, but hey, it's a small price to pay for the incredible performance this machine delivers. So, if you're serious about upping your cooking game and adding some pizzazz to your kitchen, the Hamilton Beach Food Processor & Vegetable Chopper is a must-have. I'm giving it five stars, and it deserves every single one of them. Thanks to this culinary wizardry, I'm now the undisputed king of the kitchen! Mike P. signing off, happy cooking, and stay hungry, my friends!

This works very well for me
I have every gadget under the sun, except this. And now I am throwing out many things because this will replace them. I give it a ten for zoodles. A ten for making guacamole, a ten for grating cheese. I will give it a 9.5 for making goldfish dough, but since I used almond flour, it may have reduced the rating. I was going to get a kitchen aid processor, but it was so badly rating, I canceled to buy this. The only thing that gets a lower rating, to a 6, is the plastic bowl. You can tell it will break very easily, so I will treat it as a princess and not hold it by the handle when bowl is full. My suggestion to you is to improve with a heavier plastic, because the rest is grade ten, why lower the rating due to flimsy plastic bowl? But so far I love it.

Powerful, easy to use and clean
I have gone nearly 20 years without a food processor because my first one was so tedious to use and clean, I gave it away and never replaced it until now. The thing that made me buy this was the spiralizer for the squash in my garden. Honestly, that is just so-so. It doesn’t work as well for anything with seeds so our crook-necks kind of fall apart. You’d probably be better off with a hand crank spiralizer that cores out the seeds, but I hate buying things that have just one function. This spiralizes but just makes it more like long shreds and you have to stop to clean out the seeds if you don’t cut them out before you start. This is the only reason I don’t give it 5 stars. But, that said, it is awesome with everything else! It makes pesto in seconds. I harvested 10 cups of basil and this made a beautiful paste of it within minutes and I didn’t even have to empty the container until I was done. We will use it for hummus, dough, chopping nuts, shredding cheese and slicing. Super easy to put together and take apart and clean. No weird crevices to collect gunk. I am also happy with the quality of the machine because I bought it used-very good. The box was in shambles so I was nervous but the machine was pristine and works great and we saved $15 off the list price.

Better than advertised!
I was looking for a simple, compact food processor and this has exceeded my expectations! It has chopped vegetables, ground meat for gyros and organ meats for dog food and done the job quickly and easily with easy clean up. About a half pound of meat at a time fits well in the bowl. Much to my surprise and delight was that I was able to get all the pieces to fit in and on the bowl unlike the manual shows, keeping the sharp blade inside the bowl for safety. In addition, the cord can be stowed inside the unit making it tidy and compact to store. The manual doesn’t show this perk. I purchased this “used-like new” and received a discount during Prime Days making it an even sweeter deal!

Powerful and easy
Bought this food processor about a month ago. Wanted to use more of the features before writing a review. Have used it at least 6-8 times and liking it more every time! This is my first modern food processor (I did have a O-brand Kitchen Center years ago but didn't "get" the food processor or chopper modules at the time; I cooked differently back then). When we went through two manual spiralizers shredding cabbage, and I was forbidden from doing that any more, I asked my SIL how she made such nice cole slaw. The answer was "my C-brand food processor". So I looked into food processors and when I found this one with spiralizing ability I didn't wait long before I hit the BUY button. So far I have used the chopping/mixing blade (the "S-Blade") to chop or mince onion, the slicing side of the reversible blade for peppers, and the "ribbon" blade to make zoodles. The S-Blade is about as loud as a blender; the other two functions are quite loud, but SO FAST, it's over in no time. Three zucchini will about fill the capacity; I pause halfway through to push the zoodles over to the other side of the Bowl. Compared to my SIL's C-art, I do have few choices: Notably only one thicknesses for slicing. Compared to the manual spiralizer, also fewer options (one straight ribbon and one size noodle, which is between the spaghetti- and the eggnoodle-size of the manual). But it is so much easier and easier to clean, that I suspect we will not be using the manual one again! Note that the users guide calls the ribbon maker the spiralizing blade, and the noodle maker the ribbon blade. The funny thing is, I haven't shredded or sliced cabbage yet and that was the whole reason I wanted a FP. ETA, I just cut up a half-a-head of cabbage just to see how it worked! Attaching photo: Sliced on the left, Shredded on the right. Shred blade really produces grated cabbage if you have a use for that!

Time Saving Fast
Works great as advertised. I only wish the opening was larger so I don't have to cut veggies in half, a potato.
