StarPack Basics Silicone Spatula Set of 2 (1 Small, 1 Large), High Heat Resistant to 480°F, Hygienic One Piece Design, Non Stick Rubber Cooking Utensil Set (Gray Black)

My search for a spatula started when I realized two things: 1. I was tired of my spatulas head falling off when I was washing it (wood handle with silicone head - gift) and 2. I finally accepted the fact that the silicone had seen better days. Because I'm a Prime junkie, like many of you reading this, I started here first (to be honest, I despise going to stores anymore because people are so damn rude). Anyways, I digress. I'm EXTREMELY picky when it comes to spatulas, flatware, skillets, basically anything for the kitchen that IIIIII am buying and use on the regular (free is free). Here are my main complaints about most spatulas: 1. They're not seamless 2. They're made for Sam's Club jars of stuff (such bulky heads!), 3. The head is contoured weird, 4. The handles make me feel like I'm holding a mini baseball bat by the end you hit the ball with (and I have large hands for a woman, I think. Unless I just live in an area where men's hands are small. Also, is there a technical term for that end of the bat? I sure hope my boyfriend doesn't see this...), and last but not least (literally my biggest pet peeve) 5. They either weigh too much or too little. With all that in mind, THESE spatulas exceed my expectations. I find myself wondering how on Earth I am writing a review this long but then I realize it's all the things I hate about other products. Seriously. Take a chance on these spatulas. I did because they were reasonably priced and appeared to be what I was looking for (didnt care about color - I would have bought poop brown) AND THEY ARE. They fit my hand more than comfortably, they're the PERFECT weight, they're seamless, and contouring and the size of the head is really nice. TRY THESE SPATULAS.

I've had these spatulas for over a year and a half now, and I'm still using them almost every day. They work great, the color hasn't changed dramatically, and the all-one-piece seamless design makes them far easier to clean than any other rubber spatula I've had. My only complaint is that the smaller one almost seems TOO small. Not the head, but the handle. It feels too short and slight when I use it, as though it's hard to keep a hold of it. And I have fairly small hands. But overall, I think these are great and if they ever wear out, I will re-order them.

I like both these spatulas so much! To be honest, I chose this set because StarPack had the exact same color I was looking for, which pairs beautifully with my kitchen colors. And I needed just the big spatula, but I bought this set because I found it more convenient. Well, it turned out that I keep using both of them so often that I regret not having bought the spatula set including two of each kind. They are great for using with non-stick pans (I find the small one particularly suitable for it, being shorter), while I use both for scraping out mixing bowl, and - depending on how large the bowl is - I would go for the longer or the shorter spatula.Hand-washing is a breeze (as I said, I use them very often, that sometimes I can't wait for my next dishwasher run!), but they are dishwasher-safe as well. Being heat resistant, I don't need to worry about where I put them, if the pan is too hot, or if I have to use it while the pan is on the stove, etc. While you cannot do that with many plastic tools.The handle is strong, and it provides a good balance to the spatula, and the soft head works perfectly.Last note: I got an e-mail from StarPack with some cooking tips - which I appreciated as a way to follow up with your customer.

Not a flimsy product. Well made. Works well.

Good basic spatulas. I like the stiffness; don't want my utensils bending when I'm trying to stir or scrape.One star off because the color isn't really teal. As you can tell from some of the uploaded pictures, they're on the blue side of teal, and nowhere near the same color as all my other utensils that were described as teal.

I now own almost all of the StarPack Home silicone utensils and am very impressed with the quality. I purchased these silicone spatulas to replace one that picked up an unfortunate odor I couldn't get rid of. I do a lot of baking and these spatulas are perfect for scraping down the bowl of my mixer as well as spreading batter into pans. The heads are entirely flexible, but still strong enough to scrape even the thickest batter, especially along the edges. In fact, these are better for scraping thick batters than the Pampered Chef one they replaced. I have not noticed any pickup of odors and these are one piece with no crevices to clean. They're a nice weight in your hand and just feel solid and well made. When I was looking for spatulas, I noticed none had both dimensions of the spatula head, so I'll include that here in case someone needs it. The large spatula head is 2.2" by about 3.5" and the small spatula head is 1.6" by about 2.5" I would recommend these spatulas without reservation!I received these products at a reduced price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

I’ve now owned these spatulas for 2 years and they still look brand new. With a large family these get HEAVY usage and they are amazing. Not flimsy, easy to clean, no stains or smells.

I was looking specifically for a set of spatulas, sturdy but with some flexibility to scrape the sides of bowls and pots. I have an assortment of spatulas but did not have a narrow one. Certainly you can find spatulas in local stores and there are many on Amazon. After reading many reviews, I selected these for their shape and metal core. I had the opportunity to use both in a busy three days of cooking for company, and liked the shape of the narrow one for scraping the sides of the food processor after preparing a chocolate ganache.I used the larger one to stir barbeque sauce. The shape of the spatulas left no connections between the handle and the spatula face so the clean-up was easy. I put both in the dishwasher. Most of my spatulas are of wood and silicone or wood and rubber. The single construction of the StarPack spatulas means there will be no groove or space to clean between the two materials. I have saved this vendor for future purchases.

This is my second time purchasing this set. The first set I purchased lasted over 6 years (used several times a week) before it had a tiny chip on the side. Highly recommend!
