🔧 Switch Smart, Live Better!
The SSR-25AA Solid State Relay is a high-performance AC to AC control solution, designed for maximum reliability and efficiency. With an input voltage range of 80-250V AC and a load voltage range of 24-380V AC, this relay supports a maximum load current of 25A. Its rugged construction and advanced features ensure safe operation for sensitive loads, making it an essential component for modern electrical systems.

AA vs AD is a big difference
This controller works perfectly. I made the mistake of ordering the AA model meaning I had to provide AC voltage to switch the relay on. Ooooooops. I really needed the AD version to switch AC using 5v DC logic. I had a spare relay on hand to switch the AC on/off.

Positive experience
Exactly as advertised. Shipped fast enough, packaged well enough and works fine.I used this to run my well pump using a 110V trigger from an electronic pressure switch unit. I wanted to use this to power the well pump as it will be more bullet proof on the amperage running the well pump, though the well pump is only at 4.5 amps. If you have a heavy amp draw you might consider adding a little computer fan to the heat sink and make it more bullet proof to heat. Good little unit, good price and very handy.

Didn’t last.
Didn’t last. Not worth buying.

It works and it's quiet at a reasonable price
I'm using it for an HVAC booster fan. I used an AC circuit off my Carrier furnace meant for an air purifier to trigger the relay. Don't even consider using the circuit directly you may blow a very expensive control board.

Worked and saved me mad money!
Relay on my furnace went out and they wanted $400 to come fix it this thing solved my problem! Cheers!

Not recommended
This unit was purchased to control a 20 amp rated heater which doesn't really draw that much. Even though it was being operated below its stated current rating with the heatsink in place, this unit failed after a couple of months. Failure mode was severe overheating resulting in the unit going up in flames. Fortunately circuit breakers tripped before any damage occurred. If you must have a solid state relay, I recommend getting one with a current rating much higher (at least 50%) than your requirements. Better yet, for such high current requirements, there are actual physical relay units available that should be more reliable.

Silent switching
Easy installation. The relay in the thermostat makes more sound than the SSR-25AA

Works perfect
The relay worked as per designed. I am using it for a heater control. Works perfectly!
