Im almost all white now and this gives me thee best coverage and the most natural color. I go between Black, black/blue and natural brown over the past 15 years or so I've used this product and it covers my very thick Italian (course) white hair BEAUTIFULLY.

Color that lasts. Really makes my hair soft not damaged

I’m 52 and my hair is increasingly going gray especially new growth and around my scalp and hairline. I was using a drugstore box brand but I was having to redo my hair about once a month. For one this dried my hair out but it was getting expensive as well. I took a gamble on this and I’m so glad I did! The color kind of dries thick just like in the salon (if that makes sense). The color was deep and gave my hair some volume as well. At first I was unsure how to mix it but I used a whole tube of color which is 4 oz with 4 ounces of volume 20 developer. For reference my hair is very dark brown.

First let me say I don’t write many reviews. But this product shocked me so much that I had to take a moment to write. I have been using the same brand of dye for a very long time. I thought they are all the same. The brand I normally use is Ion and they were out of the shade I needed so I decided to try this brand. OMG what a difference. I did everything exactly the same as I usually do. I am 70 and have the normal thinning lackluster hair but very little gray(good genes I guess). My normal color is this mousy brown so when I dye it, I go dark brown. It just looks better with my skin color. I cannot tell you how shiny, bouncy and healthy my hair came out! Makes me want to color my hair every day. I don’t know how long it will last but my hair looks better than it has in years!!

Hello everyone, I have a condition called piebaldism and this means I am partially albino. I have been nervous about dying my own hair as I don’t always know how the albino hair will react with the hair dye. (My mom has this condition and has had some mishaps with her hair dying experiences.) I bought this for the high rating as the hair that is not albino white is going grey and I wanted to color it myself. This is my first application and I am very excited with the results. It colored both the grey hair and the albino hair I wanted to dye. Highly recommend this product.

I just received this hair dye in the mail today and had a really frustrating experience using it for the first time. I punctured the seal exactly where instructed, but instead of the product dispensing normally, the hair dye started leaking out of the opposite end of the tube. It made a mess immediately and wasted product before I could even use it properly. I’ve used plenty of hair dyes before and have never had this happen. Really disappointing, especially considering it was brand new out of the package. I’m hoping this was just a defective tube, but it definitely made for a bad first impression.

Slightly darker than I imagined, but it faded out nice!

I wasn't sure what I was buying. I saw that "most people" also but developer with it, so I did. I was unsure how to mix it because the developer was such a bigger bottle. I used the entire tube of hair color and 2oz of developer. Mixed together in a bowl, applied to my roots mostly, left on for a little less than 30 minutes, then rinsed. The color is dark and looks healthy. My hair is soft and shiny. Looks like I found a new hair color. I was using Madison Reed for a couple years now.
