Good buy
The product I ordered: Virtual Reality Labs VRBT120P VR3 VRBT120P Bluetooth Speaker Car Kit was to fill an immediate need.Shipping was very fast. The unit(s) are pretty much as described. My only con is; not enough volume.Even though the unit is on the visor above your face, it is notquite loud enough for clear understanding of caller's voice.Pro; people I called all said they could hear and understand mequite well, no "huh?" or "say again!".Initial pairing took over twenty minutes, but once paired theywork every time. Battery life is great.Except for the volume problem, this unit lives up to it's ad.Yes, I would buy this product again. I have already advisedfriends about it with the recommendation that they not use itfor example, with windows open, .NOTE: The item pictured is NOT what I ordered and received.

Duscontinued
Works extemely well with traditional flip phones. Not so good with iOS phones. Shows dialed ph. Nos. Long battery life. For iPhone go with Motorola Roadster.

Worked OK, then broken
First, I like the display that shows you the caller ID number for received calls, but there is very little other information that is displayed, more could have been done to improve the utility of that feature. For example, there is no indication on the screen on the speaker volume setting. The sound quality is marginal - the system supports voice dialing, for example, but I could never get my phone to recognize my saying "home" when using the speaker, when it works every time using the phone itself. Battery life was good, and recharging was easy. However, after about two months of pretty light use, the microphone stopped working altogether, so the unit is useless now.

A Very Good Speakerphone For The Price
This is a great buy for a basic speakerphone! It's simple and easy to use. The battery charge holds up well with regular use. However, I've found that when driving on the freeway, it can be a bit difficult to hear the caller because the volume only goes up just so high, and it can possibly be due to road noise. But, if you listen closely, you can still hear the caller when the windows are rolled up.When driving on the city streets I've had no volume problem at all. My callers have told me that they can hear me very clear when I'm on the freeway or when street driving, but it could also depend on the call connection. Overall, I'm very pleased with this device.-ToneXman

Quiet, and not worth the price
Hands down, this product is NOT LOUD ENOUGH. Works great if your engine isnt running but once your going you cant hear a word, and no I don't have hearing loss. Buy the stupid looking ear things, they work much better.

Not as handy as I had hoped
I am hoping I get more adept at using this before the CA law requires I use something like this in July 2008!

PROS & CONS
Got this unit as a Christmas gift. Here are some pros & cons in the event you're thinking of purchasing it:PROS:IT WORKS!It sounds GREAT!It linked up with my Bluetooth phone quickly (I use a Samsung model)! It's ESPECIALLY handy with voice recognition Bluetooth devices. (I just tell it to call a name in my cellphone directory, and it does the rest!)The price is reasonable for what this does. It's one of the few devices of this type that has a big display area for the phone number, HOWEVER...(see CONS below)...It's easy to operate! It seems to hold a full charge for a long time period (at least a week so far for me).CONS:It only comes with a 30 day warranty! It needs to be charged for 2-4 hours when the battery drains. The problem is, the ONLY way they suggest you charge it is through your vehicle's cigarette lighter. (No adapter to charge it in our home.) And they suggest NOT charging it when you aren't in your vehicle. I don't know about you, but I seldom drive around town for 2-4 hours. (FYI, I just left it plugged in while I was at home and all worked well.)The "log" area is supposed to keep track of calls in and out by way of logging them with a 0-5 first digit in front of them so you know which calls were most recent. The unit I have puts no such digit in front of the number. And there are some mysterious numbers in the log I have no idea who they belong to which DO have a #1 in front of all of them. (There are no 0, 2, 3, 4, or 5 numbered calls to be found! All the "mystery" numbers have a "1" in front of them.)While this unit DOES have a large display area for the number, it's hard to see in bright light.Hope these PROS/CONS help you to decide if you want to purchase it. Would I buy it again? Yes, I think I would. Mainly because I believe the pros outweigh the cons...especially the fact that it really DOES work for hands-free calling. After all, isn't that why you're REALLY thinking about buying something like this?Good luck in your decision.

A necessary item for Ca. Drivers
Just bought the vrbt300v from Costco last night. Set up with my Razr was simple. Love the caller id function. The charger for the moto razr works on the V3. No need to use car charger. Sound quality is good, both sending and receiving. Since all Ca. drivers will have to be hands free on July 1.This is a nice alternative to the over the ear hands free devices.NICE FEATURE: Unit disconnects when you are about 30-40 ft from the car and then reconnects as soon as you get back to the car. There were a lot of phone numbers already on the call log, but they are "moving off" as my numbers come on. The call log will only hold 5 numbers on each of the 3 logs. Missed calls-Dialed calls- and Received Calls. I can only assume that the strange numbers were there from the original programming of the box.Voice dialing is not a problem. I have my phone set up for voice dialing and the VR3 calls just like using my Razr.Had a little problem with call waiting, but it was my fault, I couldn't remember which way to move the 3 way button to answer the incoming call or drop the call I was on. I've only had it one day..So I'm sure I will get better.Don't know about battery life. I have had it on all day in the office at my desk and have been receiving calls like crazy and the battery is still showing fully charged.
