Incredible value in a large capacity thumb drive
I wanted to increase the data storage capacity for both my Chromebook and Windows laptops. With SSD's costing well over $100, I decided to purchase a large capacity thumb drive. The 2.0 USB Dianww Thumb Drive seemed like a solution to my need, and at under $15 it more than met my needs. I was surprised that, for the price, the drive was extremely well made. It felt solid, and had a shiny metal case with a swivel hinge that was not loose or wobbly.I was pleasantly surprised that, upon inserting the drive in my laptop that the drive was already formatted and useable in either laptop. Its capacity was as advertised. Data transfer time was average and satisfactory, for my needs, since I use the drive for backup. All in all, I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase and will tell acquaintances of my good fortune with this product. I have seen consumers of similar drives voice displeasure over their purchases, and I am so pleased that I felt none of this ill feeling. Is it worth a 5 star review? Definitely!

These are absolute garbage! THEY DO NOT WORK!
These are absolute garbage! I bought two since they were a good price. Even after performing a full format on both, the first one failed to work (Windows complained the drive was unreadable). The second one stored my files, but I was unable to read them back. On subsequent attempts to re-insert the USB, Windows complained that the second drive was also unreadable.

It's formatted in RAW.
RAW formatted! beware..This is only good for saving videos and photos, if you're running an 32 bit OS you're not going to even see it in My Computer/Explorer. But, if you don't mind downloading a small program called guifat32 you can format it to FAT32 with a 450 gig reduction penalty. Google guifat32 it's a memory resident popup program that runs from the zip file and closes when you're done. Guifat32 makes this a useful item but it's a little pricey considering you have to schlep around with ancient hacks to use it on older hardware Buyers should be beware of SDmicro and thumbdives with huge memory for cheap.

Good storage capacity for the money
First of all, if you are buying this for your Blink Module, check to see if your version will support greater than 256 GB capacity, Mine does not, but I still kept it because it offers 1 TB of cheap additional storage space that I can use for my laptop's files. Other storage options advertise a given capacity but when you look at the details, their storage is actually much less than what they advertise. This one is pretty much the full 1 TB.

Yes its a scam, dont bother.
if you connect it to any diagnostic software you'll see you do not have the storage advertised and nearly every operation fails.

Beware, do not buy
I gave this product a 5 star rating to tell you to read the one star ratings. They are all true. This device is worthless and will not allow you to write and then read the 1000 gig of data. For some reason you can only access around 64 gig. They take 10 to 15 minutes to format and i have tried all available options to format. I bought about 8 of these cheap drives before i discovered they are flawed. The 5 star ratings must be fake or paid for. The drive seems as though its writing the date (very very slow),, but when you return to read it you can’t. If you really want one of theses, i will sell you mine for $5.00. Good Luck and beware, beware, beware.
