Great guide to Microsoft Teams for all experience levels
This book is an excellent guide to using Microsoft Teams whether you're a beginner or you use Teams daily and are looking to get the most out of it. A wide range of topics are covered including the first time getting into Teams, using chat, channels, meetings, app integrations and Team structure/ownership. There is a ton of great info here, but it can be overwhelming to read cover to cover. I think a good strategy would be to consume a chapter or two per week to make your way through the book and get practice with the concepts to fully understand them. This is also a great reference book for less frequent activities like how to leave an organization as a guest. Rather than having to hunt through Internet searches, those kinds of topics are covered with step-by-step instructions. There are very helpful graphics throughout this book, from clearly labeled screenshots to diagrams showing the components you get when you create a Team.Frequently asked questions are included throughout the book. These are strategically placed after key sets of instructions and I found relevant questions and answers were there just as they came to my mind. One of the most valuable sections I found was an entire chapter dedicated to searching in Microsoft Teams. There's an excellent page with tips & tricks for crafting a good search so that you can find what you need. This guide to Microsoft Teams doesn't just cover the basic things most people might already be used to doing. Over the past year, many of us were exposed just to Teams meetings and this book helps you branch out to experience everything else Teams has to offer. There are many advanced topics such as integration with external storage providers and even creative solutions beyond the out of the box features. I loved the section about how you can use your local camera apps to get a side-by-side view for your meeting!Overall I would recommend this book to those users that have a desire to do more with Microsoft Teams. The basics are definitely covered, especially at the beginning, but this provides a good opportunity to really understand how Microsoft Teams can be used to its full potential. For full disclosure, I have followed Matt Wade's very helpful contributions for several years and have gotten to know him over the past year through the Microsoft MVP program. I was provided early access to his book but it is such a helpful guide that I purchased the Kindle version for highlighting and bookmarking.

Absolute MUST-HAVE if you want to master Microsoft Teams!
I can’t express how impressed I am with this book. As a tech-professional, I’ve used Microsoft Teams extensively, but this guide really took my understanding of the product to the next level. There were a few specific details that set this book apart for me. First, the authors’ abilities to break down complex concepts into simple, step-by-step instructions are unparalleled. The visuals and screenshots provided alongside each explanation make navigating Teams’ features super easy. In addition to effortlessly setting up channels and integrating apps, I found myself managing advanced permissions that had previously been a bit challenging.Secondly, Matt and Sven’s real-world insights and practical tips are goldmines for anyone seeking to enhance their Teams experience. Their coverage of lesser-known features like background effects for video calls and time-saving keyboard shortcuts are things I can honestly say I incorporate into my day-to-day use, and have truly improved the way I collaborate with my team. The book definitely doesn’t just scratch the surface—it delves deep into the intricacies of Teams, ensuring you become a power-user in no time.I can confidently say that this book is worth every penny.

This is the how-to guide to Microsoft Teams you've been waiting for
Teach Yourself Visually: Microsoft Teams is a masterclass in simple, visual, on-demand learning. Matt and Sven hit the sweet spot of staying matter-of-fact in how they describe the various features and capabilities in Teams without handing in a boring tech encyclopedia. As someone who spent years teaching people how to use software and collaborative platforms like Teams (and Skype before that), anyone who even passively relies on Teams should pick up a copy. Whether it's discovering what *actually* happens when you create a private channel or remembering the best way to share a file in a meeting, there's valuable information inside for someone at every skill level.Oh, and there are some genuinely brilliant tips and tricks on nearly every page. Even now, as I'm writing this review, I find myself flipping through pages just to read all the tip boxes. I love it! So buy this book for you, buy it for your boss, buy it for your team, buy it for your company. If using Teams is half as easy as these guys make it seem, maybe this modern workplace won't be so bad after all.Disclaimer: I received an advance copy of this book from one of the authors, and I'm reviewing this voluntarily.

Worthless for Apple users
I'm a confirmed Apple user, but let's not discuss the Apple versus PC subject here.Nothing in Amazon's description of the book mentioned that the entire book completely ignores the existence of Teams for Apple. My money was wasted on this book.PS: Apple is better.

SO EASY
I purchased this book after my company switched from Skype to Teams and our entire department was struggling with the transition. This book is concise and clear, and written for all levels of use. Highly recommend!

Teams app
I needed quick help and the book arrived super fast, and good condition. The teaching was good as always with this series, but didn't help with my specific issue which was due to the Team users.
