Tuff Mutt Dog Poop Bag Holder for Leashes with Velcro Attachment

This thing has lasted me 9.5 years, and I'm just now getting a replacement. It is the perfect bag holder. It stays in place and has stood up to lots of wear and tear (including getting run over by an SUV!) easy to change bags and holds a good amount (easily holds a roll plus extra emergency bags). And the price is the same now as I paid for it years ago!

The headphone hole type thing for the bags to come out of keeps them from unfurling. Definitely a great feature when on poop bag holders. The velcro on the back is sturdy, long enough to wrap all the way around a leash, & is not sharp on the edges. I sew, so I know my velcro haha, this is good stuff. The zipper on the other hand, is not the best quality zipper so I do not know how long it will last, but it gets the job done for now. It comes slightly undone at the end around the curve, as many cheap zippers do. Not enough for anything to fall out, but if you are a perfectionist or would be offput by that, it is something to be aware of. I like the plastic D ring on the end as well for metal poop bag holders (for after the poop has been scooped).

This bag is exceptionally made with a thickness for holding up but not adding bulk. Stitching is well secured. It actually is very roomy considering the small size. There is plenty of room for my condo door keys. It will easily hold an extra roll of bags too. I attach it to the leash handle so it sits up on my wrist. Easy and convenient to use. It doesn’t interfere with my wrapping the leash around my hand to hold on for security of my GS dog. The medium gray color is perfect. And the price was right. Well worth the cost.

We just adopted a senior dog from the shelter. I knew I did not want the bullet shaped poop bag holder. We lost so many of those with our previous dog. The Tuff Mitt has a great shape and I love the way it hooks on the leash. There is one to carry an extra roll of bags or to store training treats. I especially like how well the Tuff Mutt is made.

I love this holder! All my past poop bag holders would eventually, some quicker than others, fall off my dog’s leash or harness and of course I would have no idea that it happened. I even tried different things to attach the holder to the leash, metal, plastic, even a metal 1 that supposedly locked! Epic failures. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this but man, it’s great! It straps around the leash using very strong Velcro. I have a rope leash & it’s strapped where the handle meets the leash & that thing isn’t going anywhere for a long time. On top of that, changing out a roll of bags is so easy, no more fighting that little plastic hole and this little bag holders hole is just as tight as the plastic ones but simply easier to use. Cost was perfect , color is fine, just as the picture shows & of course it’s easy to carry, as I already mentioned. I haven’t had to clean it yet but I imagine it’s easy to clean. Throw it in the wash and I’m sure it comes out fine and since the Velcro is so strong, I don’t think it’ll cause an issue. Maybe don’t clean it with a giant crazy fuzzy blanket, use your common sense and you’ll like it too!

Finally. A dog bag pouch that delivers. Hangs snug to the leash, dispenses a bag (without the whole roll unravelling out (like the pouch I’m replacing) and looks good and relatively discreet. Meets expectations and then some.

This is the best poop holder I have ever tried. It fits 2 rolls inside and the bag dispenses from the side very easily. The zip compartment is generous without being overly big. I absolutely LOVE this item.

I like how the bag holder sits flat on the leash. Concept is good, however the bags that came with the holder are ALL defective, and tore as they were being removed from the bag holder. I thought that it could be the notched hole that the bags were being pulled from, however, it just seems to be the bags themselves.

Hole was too small making it difficult to pull bags out without tearing. Material cracked after about 6 months of daily use. Trying a different brand, that was also less money now. It functions better, but time will tell if more durable.
