Can the cameras read license plates ????

Can it READ license plates ? No, it can not. It is not a license plate reader. Police have those and cost many thousands of dollars. Can it take a picture of license plates ? Yes. Will you be able to read the plate ? Likely not, unless it was taken at a very close distance, like maybe 20 ft. Anything if it’s farther out, then it will likely be too blurry, especially if the vehicle was moving.

Will it remember setup when batteries are removed for replacement?

You will have to reset the date and time.
