When precision counts
On occasion I have to set preload on taper bearings. This tool gives me the confidence to complete the job.

Needs to come with adapters not sockets
Comes with some sockets but what it needs to come with are adapters ¼ to ⅜ and ¼ to ½" otherwise working wellfor pinion preload

Work as it should
Well made.

for the price it is an excellent rolling torque wrench
works as advertised and is reasonably accurate when check vs more expensive wrenches I have. Is perfect for the more advanced home mechanic/gear head

Barely did what it was supposed to do
The torque gauge barely survived the re-gear of my 4x4. This tool hung out with my micrometer and dial indicator and did not get banged around. This did not stop the gauge cover from falling of repeatedly. Every now and then the indicating needle would also be in a different location. However, it stayed alive long enough for me to complete the re-gear before getting chunked.

Not Bad
Good tool for the money. Twitchey as hell and requires constant adjustment of zero dial. Consistant readings.
