Nice waffle maker, I use it for chaffles. Bought as an open box return, so at a discount price and I have not had any problems with it, it works perfectly. Easy to use, with indicator lights to show when its heating/hot. Nice to be able to remove the plates for cleaning, just rinse in warm water, dry, put back, all good.

Had an electric waffle maker that worked perfectly every time. After it sadly died, I bought this as a replacement. I used it twice, with a tried and tested recipe. Both times, it produced horrible waffles that were burnt on the bottom, soggy on top and raw in the middle. I tried flipping the waffles, but to no avail. Tried a different recipe, no joy. There is obviously something wrong with the plate temperatures or thermostat. I hate throwing things away, but this is heading towards the bin.

I’ve been looking for a waffle maker for a while now but couldn’t find a decent one with removable plates. I wanted removable plates because I’ve had a sandwich maker before that DIDN’T have removable plates and it was a nightmare to clean! I came across this Duronic one and seeing it had removable cooking plates plus the space to cook 4 waffles at a time, I was keen to give it a go. We’re a family of 4, so the more I can cook at one time the better. We used it for the first time last weekend and the kids were thrilled to have waffles for breakfast. We tried two kinds of batter: plain and chocolate flavour. It was very easy to use, so even if you aren’t a great cook there isn’t much that can go wrong! I was unsure at first as I’ve never made waffles and expected it to take practice to get it right, but this machine made it super easy to do. I was impressed that all of the waffles came out really good even on the first time. The waffles took about 5 minutes (6-ish for really golden waffles) so there was little waiting around for next batch – while round 1 were being eaten, round 2 were being cooked. Overall very impressed with this waffle maker. I would definitely recommend and so would my kids who demanded waffles be a permanent breakfast every Saturday from now on!

The lid seems a bit flimsy and the botom half of the waffle appears to cook darker than the top half but cooked effectively.

Good waffle maker. I have to flip the waffles half way to brown the top but thats more than likely me not putting enough mix in to fill the chamber. Easy to clean with the removal plates

Cooking time is about 15min (quiet long) You must oilspray the machine before pooring in mixture Its good that it makes 4 waffles at atime Its good that you can remove metal plates for washing.

I wasn't very sure about buying this after reading some not so good comments. But glad I bought this waffle maker. The only downside I would say is that the bottom gets browned quickly, but I give it a flip after 5 mins and cook for another minute or two and they come out perfect. My old waffle maker would drip if there was excess batter and stick...take around 12-13 mins just to cook two waffles which wouldn't necessarily come out easily. Not the case anymore, 6-7mins and I have perfect 4 waffles at one time and they don't stick at all !!! Very happy with the purchase.

Très prometteur, mais cependant grosse déception. Les plus : les plaques sont amovibles facilitant le nettoyage le revêtement anti adhésif permet de ne pas utiliser de matière grasse supplémentaire pour la cuisson Les moins : Un ridicule cordon, trop court un temps de chauffe très important un temps de cuisson qui l'est encore plus, il faut un temps fou à chaque fournée la partie basse chauffe plus que la partie haute, les gaufres sont donc moins cuites sur le dessus... La couleur noire est chouette, mais hyper salissante Je demande le retour du produit pour un modèle plus puissant (1200 watts mini)

PRIMER DÍA: En esta otra gofrera la caja no corresponde al modelo que viene dentro, cosa que ya me molesta. No vienen instrucciones físicas, has de buscarlas con un código en internet. Al encenderla olía terrible. Mientras funciona desprende muchísimo humo. He acabado con picor de ojos. El cable es demasiado corto, lo que hace difícil de ubicarla en la parte adecuada de la cocina. El gofre por la parte de arriba queda poquísimo hecho, sin embargo por debajo se quema. Se supone que cuando el piloto rojo se apaga, ya está lista para verter la masa pero es echarla y va encendiéndose y apagándose todo el rato. Lo único que me gusta es que hace 4 a la vez y que se desmonta para limpiar. Pongo foto de los primeros goffres. SEGUNDO DÍA: Le he dado una segunda oportunidad. El secreto es darle la vuelta a los gofres para que la parte de arriba se dore, pero claro, eso conlleva que 4 gofres tarden 16 minutos en estar a punto. Hoy el vapor no me hacía picar los ojos. MES DE USO A pesar de los inconvenientes encontrados tales como: Cable corto Manual no físico No botón para regular No se hacen homogéneos Valoro que se pueda extraer para limpiar y que no se pegan si en la composición lleva aceite o mantequilla. Sigo su receta pero adaptada a mis necesidades en un intento de convertirlos en SALUDABLES: 150 gramos harina espelta tamizada 1/2 cucharada polvos hornear 1 cucharadita azúcar moreno 1 cucharadita de estevia Pizca de sal himalaya Canela ecológica al gusto 25 gramos aceite oliva 0,4 grados 300 mililitros bebida vegetal 2 huevos ( las claras se añaden al final a punto de nieve) Todo ecológico/orgánico He probado a usar bicarbonato y un chorrito de limón para sustituir los polvos de repostería. Intensifica el sabor y no es apto para todos los paladares. ADVERTENCIA: el vapor que va desprendido puede mojar la parte de abajo de dónde la colocas. Precaución si la encimera es de madera.
