Sistema 5-Piece Food Storage Containers for Pantry with Lids and 2 Measuring Cups for Flour and Sugar, Dishwasher Safe, White

I love sistema containers, I’m 68 yrs old. These are great, they have a good seal and are very easy to open and close. I do a lot of bread making and they are perfect for all the different flours that I use. You should get these no matter how old you are!

The Sistema are wonderful. I like to bake and keep different types of flour. I store them all in my freezer. Sistema containers are freezer safe. This order of Sistema containers come in different sizes, which is perfect for me because I need different sizes. Sistema containers are made in NewZealand. They are easy to open and close. They come with a handy scoop in almost every container. My only con is that even though you can see through the containers, I would like an easy way to identify what is in the container. My solution is to write the contents on the lid with a grease pencil.

I had been gifted 2 Sistema containers and loved them, so I ordered 2 sets of these. LOVE these too. They seal well, are easy to open/close, and well designed to allow a smaller hand to grip. If you have arthritis, these will be easier to open than some other storage containers. I have the standard red-lid Rubbermaid food containers, which are difficult for my mother to open with her arthritis. The Sistema containers, however, are not difficult for her. I love that the larger containers come with a measuring cup to keep in the container and the smaller containers have pouring openings. These containers also makes it easier to fill in the bulk sections of the store or co-ops. These are dishwasher safe in the top rack, but you may need to hand wash the larger containers if your top rack is too short. Finally, I really like that the containers have an off-white lid and not a crazy color unlike so many of the other containers available. It's true that the flour container will not hold a complete American 5lb bag, but it holds about 4 lbs. I'm fine with that and just store the last pound in its package until I can add it to the container. Its definitely not something to get all wrapped-around-the-axel-about as other reviewers have. I believe these are made in New Zealand, so they probably have different standards there. A few years ago, King Arthur Flour used to carry these too, which is where I first found them.

Love these containers for everything kitchen storage. They have good seals that keep things fresh, and keep bugs out. They are easy to clean. I can easily see what is inside and how much I have left. I have bought several sets for use with all manner of dry storage in my kitchen.

I purchased some of these a few years ago with white clips and clear lids, I really wanted some more just like that but it appears they don't make the clear lids with the white clips anymore.

I love Systema containers. This set is the best buy for your money. I have numerous other Systema containers and they have held up over the years.

I love the large and medium cannisters that this company makes. I have flour, sugar, brown sugar, cereal, and other food items stored in these canisters. I hate paper and plastic bags open in my cupboards and I always transfer food to these cannisters. They are easy to use and to handle. The larger ones have a narrow end which makes them easy to pick up if you have a smaller hand. There are other Sistema containers with "clip on" closures and I like those equally.

The largest size is perfectly for the 15-quart packages of dry milk I buy. The next size down holds a five-pound bag of flour, still in the bag so you can see what kind of flour it is. Haven't yet found a use for the other sizes.

These are a great set of storage boxes for baking. Not sure if I received an second hand set, as some of boxes looked like it has been washed, with dried water spots on them. They were adequate for our needs to keep flour in them, as the paper package tends to get a hole after a while. Easy to customise with making my own labels. The set has 4 different sized boxes, and 2 measuring cups.

I use these to store flour and sugar. Works very well.
