Works great for my yoga class

This is a very well-made cushion, and the cover comes off so you can wash it. I got it in order to do the kind of exercise where you lie on your side and lift your top leg up. The lady on the exercise video said you really need a donut cushion in order to be comfortable when doing these kinds of exercises. She's right -- I tried doing those exercises years ago but gave up because the pressure point of the hip of the lower leg was too painful. With this donut under my hip, I can feel the benefit of the exercise on my upper leg, but no pain. The cushion is also very comfortable to sit on. The hole in the middle is discreetly covered by the fabric. Most other donut cushions have the obvious gaping hole, the purpose of which is hemorrhoid relief, but this is too embarrassing whether the user has this medical problem or not: if you have the problem, you don't want to broadcast this fact; if you don't have the problem, you don't want people to think you do. I highly recommend this product.

I've had it for a couple years and it works well for me to relieve pressure on sit bones. The cover is so snug across the hole in the center that it cancels out the open space that relieves pressure, so I cut the fabric in the center and the cushion works much better. Or you could remove the cover. The cover should be redesigned.

I do a lot of distance driving, and I also recently had to take a couple of cross continental flights. All of the sitting usually leaves my body in so much pain, I had come to dread travel and even vacations. On normal seats, the pain radiates out of my gluteal muscles and down my legs, and ultimately up through my back and shoulders within a couple of hours. By the time I get where I'm going, I could cry because the pain is so bad, and as a result I end up in a bad mood. Not a great way to arrive at your destination! This pillow works so great, that even though I don't love all the sitting, travel has become virtually pain-free. I was astonished to get out of my car and off the plane with no pain at all! Maybe a little stiff from the confinement, but the difference in my energy level and mood was OUTSTANDING. I even bought one for my brother when I realized he had similar pain from long drives as well. I will say that when I use it in the car, I feel like it boosts me up really high (my brother said the same thing), but I think over time the cushion has compressed, or maybe I just don't notice the height difference because I feel so hood. You will have to adjust your mirrors and your seat, and it takes a little getting used to, but it's worth the effort.

This is a good, firm, solid and comfortable option for about $10. If you only need it for short term purposes, or don't use it a lot, it will work. However, the person using it has used it to sit on (hemorrhoids) and sleep on (she has to sleep sitting up due to a condition) for about 9 months before it became too flat to be comfortable. It is used most of the day and night, but this person is not obese nor has gained weight in this period, so the cushioning simply won't last long if used many hours per day for months. Since we need a more long term solution, we'll be looking at other options that may cost more, but will hopefully last longer.

product is so stiff if using for sciatic relief pressure from sitting on this increases nerve pain from sciatic.

I purchased this for someone else and the only thing I can say is they thought it was quite firm but comfortable.

I having a job that makes me sit for hours whole day, and being a hemorrhoids patients. this cushion has helped me a lot relieve my pain which was unbearable. I have used this cushion on a 13 hour long drive and it was totally worth it. the shape of the cushion may change after usage but it get back to original shape as soon as you leave it for a while. The cover fabric material is soft and comfortable too. Highly recommend to people who do jobs like me and who do a lot of highway driving.

I wish I didn’t need this , but due to a tail bone injury I could need it for life . The price is much less then in health stores, now I have one on every chair

its probably better than most because it's thicker a nd makes it easier for the wheel chair user to get in and out.4 stars might be a bit harsh but even this one doesn't retain its comfort indefinitely.
