I have purchased three of the plastic sets from Prime. I have enjoyed them tremendously. I can come home, sit down at my desk and make multiple colors and designs that are never disappointing! I find this the most relaxing and yet productive hobby or craft I have ever done. I make book markers out of them also name tags and I also buy white gift bags at the local Dollar Tree and put designs made with the spirograph on the outside of the bag while it is still in the factory fold. I use different pens most of which are metallic and have a somewhat Illuminating effect. Glitter writing pens are also very nice. I find that the metal spirograph is both nostalgic and of course Very sturdy. I've always wanted one since I was a kid and now that I'm retired I am allowing the kid in me to come forth and have fun! If you need a way to help keep your hand eye and motor reflex intact for both young and old this is a great tool to use. It will take some practice but once you get the hang of it you can't put it down! P.S. This is far more educational than having your child or yourself set in front of a computer playing a game.

I love this, it’s reminds me of my childhood and creating amazing designs with my Spirograph. This is excellent quality and made of metal so it will last forever.

Like the original Spirograph, especially the 'Super' version as there are millions of combinations, but this is perfect when waiting on a friend (driver) in a Docs office... kids and grown-ups are both fascinated when you start making designs... Give them away to kids and hey are always glad to get them. The metal gears run cleaner and hold up better than the plastic, even thought there are a lot less options. Exactly as described and delivered fast in perfect condition.

great toy, but the packaging was torn up in the shipping bag. I will have to give it without the out packaging.

This set is really nice! It's metal and has a good weight to it, and came swiftly in good condition. It was a Christmas present for myself and family to share because we had fond memories of Spirograph as kids. We compared it to our old set and it matches exactly, but metal. Going to be a fun winter making designs with the new kit!

A wonderful throwback version of this toy. If you can afford it-- this is the one to get.
