Is the headrest removable if I don't end up liking it?

It's not designed to be removable. You might be able to find some instructions on how to do it by disassembling the back of the chair. You can also rotate the top cushioned part 180 degrees to face backwards so it's mostly out of the way. I'm 5'4 and the headrest isn't comfortable for me because it doesn't go low enough. If you are taller it's probably fine.

Does this chair have some sort of magic healing property that justifies the 1500 price tag?
