Can I use a color depositing conditioner on this extension?

Don't do what I did and use 30 dollars worth of human hair dye to dye these. Use RIT synthetic dye and do strand tests. Look it up on YouTube lots of tutorials

Can you use a flat iron on this after you insert it?

No do not flat iron when attached to your head! The pony is not real hair so it would get very hot! So your chances of getting Burt is great.
