DGSL Foam Weather Stripping, 1/2" x1/2", 13Ft Door Window Seal Tape

This is high quality and very much weather proof as i have tested it. Fair warning its going to stick to whatever it touches so make sure where you put it is where you want it because its going to stick to it. Im currently using it on the outside to help keep water out for a temp solution and we just had a downpour for nearly an hour and its kept ALL water out and doesnt absorb water at all. The adhesive is Perfect for this as i said once it sticks to something its there lol you can take it off but in pices its not hard to get off whatever its stuck to just peel it off slowly and itll all come off. I could definitely see using this with other applications such as for windows, AC's (window units) Doors exc. I highly recommend this product!

Everyone complaining about how it's hard to peel off, you just have to finesse it a bit. It's going to be hard to peel the liner if you try to pull the liner off because the foam is soft and will come with the liner, just pinch the foam instead and pull and let the liner peel off. (it's just common sense) I think this is a good product. Don't buy DIY stuff from amazon if you're not handy and then complain about how the product is "bad". It would have been nice to see some instructions on the set time for the adhesive as I am sure it takes some time to reach 100% adhesion. Also, I can't make any statements about the longevity of this product as I installed this today. But this should at least last a couple years.

I put it around my RV door and so far it seems to work. There was some fuzzy weather stripping already in place around my door and I left it in place and put this product right over it. I no longer have cold air seeping through the sides. I am hoping this product will hold up for the upcoming summer heat of Las Vegas. The negative would be that it tears easily. While installing, it ripped. Also peeling the backing off was extremely hard but I guess it makes for very strong adhesion. At first it began to tear the product with the backing so I immediately stopped. I kept working at it and found that peeling from the side seemed to do the trick for me. I wasn't about to waste my money so I had to be patient and finally was able to properly get the backing off so that I could use the product.

Disappointed with the adhesive. I had washed the door and frame, then wiped down with alcohol and let dry. In a week or so it started to come loose, duct tape to the rescue... But I could have just used duct tape by itself.

Did a nice job of sealing a patio door we were venting an a/c unit out of. Very dense foam.

I’ve had this for over a year and not sure why I waited to install it. I wiped down the door jamb with rubbing alcohol, dried it, measured and installed. It sticks really well but is also easy to remove and reinstall if needed. (Made the mistake of putting it on the inner edge instead of the outer edge. The door wouldn’t close so I moved it to the outer edge and it’s fine now.) I did the side edge of two regular house doors and have plenty left over. It makes a noticeable difference in the temperature, especially since we haven’t replaced our broken storm door. Highly recommend.

I had a huge gap in my door after having my brick moulding replaced. This product was perfect for filling in the gap! Easy to install and the adhesion is incredibly strong.

Easy to reposition to get a perfect fit - and perfect width for standard door stop. Had about an extra foot of length - way better than being short. Very pleased and provides a good seal on our new door.
