I just bought this, I know motor has 3 wires that go to 3 wires on esc, but does it matter which one plugs into which one? Any order?

Any order, if the rotation is backwards switch any 2 wires to reverse the direction.

Is this motor using dc or ac current

This motor should be correctly hooked up to the provided esc with that(the esc) plugged to the battery. All batteries are DC(direct current). So yes, this motor is DC.
