1) When Water fiter is dry, stand it up in drinking water for 1-2 mins or rinse the water filter straw under the tap from the 'mouthpiece" side, untilthe inside iswet, 2) After each use, Drain the water from the inside, and vertical placement to dry.

How to extend the straw water filter lifetime?

Rinse regularly and dry thoroughly; avoid filtering contaminated water and exposure to high temperatures; replace straws as recommended in the manual. Store dry and away from chemicals.
