This is the best of 5 different vendors I've tried. Clinical studies say take 600mg before bed, so I take 6 capsules. Unlike Swansons, NOW, or Jarrow, this stuff works really well. The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the garbage fillers they put in the capsules. But the same crap is in the other vendors as well. By the way, tuna is one of higher sources of Phosphatidylserine. Just be sure you buy SafeCatch tuna, otherwise you will screw your results by ingesting a big load of mercury.

This is actually a very potent supplement. It helps me sleep through the night without waking up at 4am. I have tried another brand in the past, that wasn't as effective as this one. But after using it for about a month, I started feeling too sluggish during the day... maybe because my body stopped producing enough cortisol. So I tried stopping it for 2 nights, the second, night I woke up again at 4am with cortisol. I feel that I now need a lower dose of this supplement. I was taking 1 capsule every evening, now maybe I'll take it every alternate day. I wish it came in a smaller dose so I could take it daily.

I can’t say whether these work better or not than what I was taking before as far as ingredients go. However, the reason I gave it a lower rating is because the container that these capsules come in is terribly designed with a huge round opening. What is the point? You’re not going to reach in and take one out because you’ll wet them with your fingers, and when you try to turn it over to get just one out, then a whole bunch fallout. Honestly I’ve managed to spill them all over the wet counter more than once while trying to just get one capsule out! I gave it the benefit of the doubt the first time this happened, but it keeps happening because the top of the container should NOT be that wide of an opening! That is why I am only rating it with three stars. I hope this helps someone and perhaps the company can change it to a normal vitamin container design with a small mouth opening hopefully in the future. I will not be ordering more with this container design again. Thanks
