Works better than the big brands at a fraction of the cost!
I have tried everything from Frontline, Advantage, and Advantix and some didn't work well and some didn't work at all. This one beats them all! My dog (15lbs) and her puppy (now14lbs) suddenly got a severe flea infestation. I didn't have $50-$60+ for the big brands, especially since they didn't work, so I did some research and found this. It's very inexpensive and the bonus is that it's also safe for my bunny to be around. I treated them at night and by morning all of their fleas were gone! There wasn't a single flea to be found on either of them! I thought- ok, let's see if it lasts all month because the other brands didn't. I just gave them their second months dose last night and it's working incredibly well! I'm sticking to this one from now on!

now this is what I am looking for in a product for my dog description is like it says itโs easy to use on my pet. Iโve used it for a while so I believe itโs pretty safe. He gets no side effects and he has no issues with fleas. itโs so easy to use give him a bath and do what the instruction says to put it on the back of the dog as far as the idea of durability I just once a month and it lasts I have no issues with the infestations and the dog is happy so Iโm happy ha ha ha

Jury's out, but scratching started again at 10 days
Update: Doesn't have the same efficacy as the name brand. (10 days to scratching again). You can't double up or increase the dosage to make up for it. But it will probably work if your pet never goes outside, or if you're in a state that doesn't have superfleas. Western WA does have superfleas, if you are wondering. --------- I used to buy the name brand Advantage ii for 20 years for my cat (she lved almost forever), and it always works like a charm. Everytime I tried anything else, it wouldn't work. (We have created superfleas in the PNW). Now I have a dog and decided to get this generic that even has a 3rd ingredient for ticks (that can't be used for cats). I had high hopes and usually love everything from Amazon Basics. But we are 10 days in age application and my poor dog is scratching a little again. No signs of flea dirt yet. Side Note: I used ZoGuard generic for Frontline on her first, and it didn't work *at all*. She had flea dirt pileup again within 4 days, and was miserable with scratching.

Didn't work. Dog still has fleas.
Didn't work on our Wired Hair Fox Terrier. Unfortunately, we used only 1 out of 6 tubes, so we spent our money for nothing. Decided to go with the Seresto flea collar. Hoping that works better (or at all, since the Amazon flea medicine failed miserably).

extremely effective on ticks and fleas
the product is non-greasy, dries quickly, and if I keep my dogs out of the river for 48 hrs after application, it remains extremely effective against ticks for a minimum of a month, and ticks are my big concern due to all the bacterial organisms they carry (Lyme, Anaplas, Ehrlichiosis, etc) - permethrin is the key to killing ticks, and this product offers that - here in northern Wisconsin ticks are a huge problem, and I am always very happy to see dead ticks on the couch or floor that have fallen off the dogs, typically not even slightly engorged - the Border Collies are very difficult to find deer ticks on due to their coats so it means a lot to me to know, with confidence, a tick preventative product is working - a huge pro for me is this product does not get absorbed systemically like some topical, and all oral, products do - I don't want to be giving my dogs a ticket to cancer with systemic treatments - that is a deal-breaker for me - other pros, tho not deal-breakers, are the product dries quickly and is not greasy, has a mild odor but not terribly offensive until it dries, seems pretty "waterproof" (i.e. remains effective even with daily swims as long as the dogs do not swim for 48 hours after application), and finally, this preventative treatment is affordable - it is not, however, a repellent of mosquitoes as it claims to be, but mosquitoes are horrendous this year - overall, an affordable five-star product IMO that keeps my dogs safe -

Works
This stuff works. Got rid of the fleas and I love the price. All the others are so expensive and im dont like buying the cheaper stuff because it can make a dog sick. Super quick and easy to apply it amd doesnt leave a terrible scent. Once dried, you can't tell you put it on.

Bad reaction
Bought this item for my 3 lapdogs. All of them have had topical treatment and no reaction. Tried this brand and one of my 3 dogs had a bad reaction. It was like she was high. She was lethargic. Had to be carried to use the restroom. To eat. To drink. She was able to stand but ah wouldnโt walk. And then all of a sudden she would run to our bed. Watched her all night because I was scared she would not wake up. I gave her milk and olive oil to push the flea poison out. We ended up giving her a bath. By the evening she was ok again. Not trying this again. My very playful and aware dog was like a zombie.
