Don't be confused by the term "alternative". My go to coffee alternative is a cup of tea: they don't taste the same either. It's a pleasant tasting barley and chicory drink that's entirely caffeine free (not just reduced). I suggest drinking it with oat milk for a softer, creamier taste. I've bought lots over time. Well priced too. For when you want a warm beverage with a slightly bitter taste that isn't going to keep you up all night or explode your blood pressure. Also, I'm not sure if the production and processing of barley and chicory are so mired in alleged controversy as those for coffee. I may be wrong. But still recommend this product!

I drink too much coffee. I've drunk too much coffee for forty years or more, but I'm finally having to cut down due to issues with acid reflux. I've bought this Whole Earth stuff four times now, so I must like it. I don't think of it as coffee, and it isn't as good as coffee, but it's the best 'healthy' substitute I've found. I recommend it to coffee addicts with reflux issues like mine, or those who want to reduce their caffeine intake.

For those on an anti inflammatory diet this is a good coffee alternative. I have not drunk coffee for 3 years now and this product has helped me kick the habit. Sadly not available in coffee shops so I cannot have that skinny latte with all those syrups added to it in a sucky cup but this is the next best thing.

I tried this year's ago at a friend's house when I was in my coffee snob phase and didn't know what in the hell it was, but then I began suffering with psoriatic arthritis! I persevered and drank coffee for years after but it's just too acidic for the body, and after almost losing my eyesight to the inflammation I had no choice but to switch! I found this brand after trying Bambu recently, but this is a fraction of the cost and it's an amazing morning cuppa! It doesn't have the bitterness and is a bit like tasty cereal milk with coffee flavour, I prepare it with Barista oat milk as a latte (if you're using it with water I really recommend you try it as a latte instead!) I'm not sure if it's gluten free because of the barley, but it's organic and it doesn't give a caffeine hangover or make your body smell like coffee does, and as far as I know it's way less acidic to the joints and teeth!!! Dissolves really well, doesn't seem to stain teeth as much either, I sometimes combine it with dandelion coffee that I put through a percolator like normal grounds! Super happy with this, and my family keep stealing it so I'll need to order more!

I have bought it several times. I keep one jar at home and one in the office. It dissolve quickly and it smell and taste so GOOD and very similar to coffee too. I noticed that it help also with digestion after a good meal, so it's a plus. Will buy it again!
