Works as described easy to change batteries and it has a nice feel in your hand, it's not too heavy and not too light. It puts out a decent amount of light and I used it to locate leaks in my fuel system. I added UV sensitive dye to the tank, ran the power washer and located the fuel leak near the fuel filter. I did a little scorpion hunting but didn't find any however I did have a dead one in a glue trap it the light worked perfectly too make the exoskeleton glow so I know it will work to find scorpions.

Beware! This may make you rethink how much you clean! I got this because I smelled cat urine.... I have never smelled it in my house before. I found stuff EVERYWHERE! It also makes coffee spills glow, and the coffee in the coffee pot. It found something glowing on cupboards... I'm not aware of what some of what glows may be. But, it does find dried urine; no matter how old if it hasn't been cleaned up. Cat spray on walls, bins, luggage etc. One of my cats must not have smelly urine, because I found a several spots in the hallway I was never aware of. My daughter says its time to move!

I took in a cat and for awhile he was outdoors, but then we let him inside. Soon after he started to spray. uggggWe then got him neutered but still spraying (as expected ) I got this to find the areas so I can clean up. This flashlightdoes the job! It is very cool. Lights up pet vomit and accident spots (new and old) in bright neon, so well that I'm so grossed out and realized I need an enzyme based cleaner for these spots even after using regular carpet cleaner! Love this thing, i use it and feel like a detective on the hunt because i always find if there's evidence!

Eh, I don’t know how to feel about this one. Originally bought it to locate pee stains from my pup. I needed to make sure I cleaned every accident my anxious pup made and this wasn’t that useful. I used it in the dark at night and the stain wasn’t as visible as you’d think. It can however, locate other types of stain pretty well like wall stains or dust.

We have a carpet where my pets love to urinate on time to time. Sometimes it is very hard to tell if it has been peed on due to it drying up but this UV light comes in handy for those situations. It is a good value for the price!

Have been having issues with my cat using the bathroom where he shouldn’t and wanted to know where he was going. The flashlight didn’t include batteries so that kind of sucked but we had some at home. It has a good battery usage life and is a good weight but is definitely metal and you could clock a burglar upside the head with it if you needed to for some reason. Seems heavy duty. However, didn’t help with our issue as we found out our cat must not have enough phosphorus on his diet and his urine doesn’t bioluminese. I think I might be able to use it to charge glow in the dark items quickly though so it’s not a total loss. Kind of fun to play with and see all the things in the house that glow fun colors and could be used to find cool things at thrift stores or garage sales.
